Festival Fashions That Can Transition To Day Wear

| August 01, 2016

Unfortunately, it’s not always ‘socially acceptable’ to walk around every day in a sparkly bra and booty shorts. However, if it were up to us we totally allow it.

While most of us have a designated “festival” section in our closet for things we only wear to festivals, there are certain things that can overlap. Whether you’re hitting the gym or running some errands, here are some festival essentials that are also great for everyday life.

1. Fancy Leggings

Leggings are great for so many reasons. They are essentially socially acceptable sweatpants that look way better. While we all need the basic black pairs, having cool designs will turn any casual day into an event.

People will definitely stop you in the supermarket to compliment your awesome pair of leggings. They'll never even know the last time you wore them you spent 12 hours dancing at the main stage.

2. Fitted hats

Hats make every outfit ten times better. They are the perfect accessory for every occasion. Bad hair day? Throw on a hat. Feeling a little reckless? Throw on a hat. No matter the circumstance hats are wildly approved.

3. Graphic Tops

Creative and a little "out- there" shirts are totally accepted at festivals. Bad puns, weird graphics, and old school characters are a must-have on casual shirts nowadays.

The best part is they make any outfit stand out. Whether you're dancing for hours on end or meeting a friend at the mall, they add a little spice to your otherwise casual outfit.

4. Colored Sunglasses

Who says bright colored sunglasses only have to be for festivals? They can liven up any outfit while also keeping the sun out of your eyes. If you’re hitting the main stage this summer or just hitting the beach, neon sunglasses should be at the top of your list.

Summer isn't over yet and we have to embrace the sunshine while we still have it. Soon everything changes to pumpkin spice flavored everything, so roll those windows down and cruise.

5. Creative Sweatshirts

Sure, sweatshirts are used to keep us warm, but that doesn't mean they have to be boring. When the rain hits at a festival, we still want our outfits to look good, which means we all have at least one awesome sweatshirt in our closet.
