Unable to make it to Lost Lands this year? There are plenty of lesser-known bass music festivals in virtually every region of the United States in 2022. Whether you gravitate towards dubstep, space bass, or riddim, there are several options that will fulfill your craving for a weekend full of bass-faces.

Bigfoot Electro
This stacked space bass lineup belongs to Tennessee's Bigfoot Electro. Featuring Mr. Bill, The Widdler, DMVU, two Yheti sets, and many more, the event has garnered high expectations. In addition, the event will host a game show, which will be an interesting activity for guests involved.

Forbidden Kingdom
As Insomniac establishes roots in Florida, Forbidden Kingdom has become a fan-favorite. Organized by dubstep label Bassrush, this festival features iconic sets such as Getter b2b Space Laces, Deathpact, HOL!, Riot Ten b2b Sullivan King, Versa, Herobust b2b Doctor P, G Jones b2b Eprom, Excision Detox, and Virtual Riot b2b Barely Alive b2b PhaseOne. In addition, Forbidden Kingdom will introduce Svdden Death’s new project, Into the Inferno. Insomniac is not a small festival organizer, but this large bass lineup is arguably the most impressive 2022 has seen so far.

Interstellar
Taking place in August, Interstellar festival is a warranted source of excitement for dubstep listeners. Massive headliners Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, and Ganja White Night are guaranteed to put forth incredible productions. Notably, Crankdat will also be making a widely anticipated comeback to live shows at Interstellar this year. Every artist on this lineup is uniquely impressive and deserves an abundance of energy from the bass music community.

Kosmic Kingdom
Iowa’s Kosmic Kingdom Music Festival suggests an immersive weekend with a magnetizing lineup. Many fans will be enthusiastic to experience the simultaneously haunting and intriguing sound and aesthetic unique to headliner G Jones.

Rekinection
Just outside of St. Louis, the Rekinection Music, Wellness, and Arts festival is expected to have wonderful stress-free energy. Along with headliners Shpongle and LSDREAM, the production will include dozens of activities such as yoga, bonfires, and a healers’ village. The 230-acre festival will hold 3 days of peaceful energy along a gorgeous creek.

Sacred Acre
Sacred Acre is particularly special due to its location. Based in Alaska, this festival will be a memorable experience for anyone who attends. An EDM festival in Alaska is a rare opportunity, and definitely recommended if feasible. Complimentary to the location, headliners Clozee, LSDREAM, LSDREAM: Lightcode, and two sets by OPIUO will make the experience extra special.
Sound Haven
This year’s Sound Haven Festival has compiled an exceptional lineup with the likes of Jade Cicada, Rusko, Mize, as well as exploding new talents Smoakland, Zingara, and Tape B. Those committed to the space bass scene will have a tough time selecting which sets to attend, since this group is bound to smash expectations. Planned to occur in late July in Tennessee, the weather should be fantastic as well.

The Untz Festival
Held in Browns Valley, California, The Untz Festival is bound to have great space bass and a beautiful ambiance. Featuring acts such as Shades, Tsuruda, and a Tiedyeky sunrise set, this event is bound to create lifelong memories. The festival will even feature yoga, workshops, community art, and live painting to add to the free-spirited vibe.

Wobbleland
Although Wobbleland San Francisco is a highly anticipated dubstep festival held in January, Vital & Prime have more recently expanded into Denver, Salt Lake City, and Dallas. In 2022, the legendary event will occur three times with varying lineups. San Francisco and Denver Wobblelands have already passed, however the Dallas lineup is stacked full of incredible bass artists this Summer.

Yonderville
Yonderville has presented another great lineup for East Coast bass music fans. Including a wide range of artists, there should be several sets to satisfy all attendees. Featuring headliner Liquid Stranger, along with Lab group’s Of The Trees, Wreckno, and Kill Smith, the lineup has lots to offer. In addition, there are dozens of incredibly talented acts rising from the new generation of bass music. Some must-see artists from this category include Dice Man, Kozmic, and Ujuu.
