10 Anticipated Sets To Catch At Global Dance Festival 2018

Global Dance Festival is coming back to Sports Authority Field at Mile High with another stacked lineup you won't want to miss. With some of the classics from electronic artists Deadmau5 and Tiesto to the biggest names in hip-hop, you will not be disappointed with this extravagant event located in one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

 

1. Destructo

  

As his stage name suggests, Destructo will have you turning up several notches. Besides throwing down at some of the biggest EDM events in the country, Gary Richards is also one of the most successful people in the electronic music industry. From promoter to founder of HARD events, Richards has worked consistently on building up the music scene we love so passionately. His latest project, All My Friends (AMF) is also living up to the Destructo brand. Take some time out of your weekend to catch his set and pay respects to a man who demonstrates what hard work and dedication can accomplish.

2. Flux Pavillion B2B Doctor P

Now if you know a thing or two about electronic music then you must know how prevalent these two artists are in the rise of dubstep and bass music around the world. Global Dance Festival has graced us with the ability to catch two legendary musicians back to back. Fill your water and empty your bladder before this one, because you are not going to leave once that first sound penetrates your cranium.

 

 

3. Claude VonStroke

 

He is a pioneer in the house and techno wave sweeping the nation, Claude Vonstroke has made a name for himself and won the hearts of dedicated fanbase. He has successfully ran one of the top independent electronic labels in America and continues to keep it light and innovative. Claude is a must-see, but don't miss the other Dirtybird artists on the lineup too. 

 

 

4. Illenium B2B Said the Sky

 

Catch these Denver-based break through artists back to back playing some dreamy melodic, feel good bass. Do not skip out on these two young musicians representing what Denver is bringing to the table at Global Dance Festival.

 

 

5. Bijou

 

The word Bijou refers to “something delicate, elegant, or highly prized” and the artist's moniker will not stray far from that definition. By infusing house with hip-hop, he creates a sound reminiscent of our part and brought to life with our innovative technological advances. Hit the dance floor with an open-heart as Bijou takes you on a journey you and your friends will not forget.  

 

 

6. Lady Faith

 

Representing the ladies in hardstyle, Lady Faith is bringing everything she's got. Full of energy and devotion, this powerful women knows how to revive the crowd. As a female coming from a Persian background, Lady Faith has had to push herself beyond her limits and prove that a little faith goes a long way.

 

 

7. Jai wolf

 

After snowballing into the spotlight last year at Red Rocks with Marshmello and then making it back as a surprise guest for Odesza, Jai Wolf has been igniting Colorado. This year at Global will be no different. His successful fusion of all genres from pop, hip-hop and electronic to more worldly sounds has led to a unique sound consisting of vibrations you will resonant with no matter your age or background.

 

 

8. ATLiens

 

This duo has caught the eyes of some of the biggest names in EDM and with their support have become one of the fastest up and coming artists this year. ATLiens found themselves collaborating with Bassnectar on “Interlock,” a bass heavy, trap released last year. Since then, the Atlanta natives have been nonstop. If you like your beats fast and your bass down low you will regret missing this one.

 

 

9. London On Da Track

 

Global Dance Festival is blessing us with a heavy hip-hop lineup this year and, although we primarily cover EDM, London On Da Track is our favorite hip-hop style act at this event. Producing behind many Drake, Nicki Minaj, and many other artist's tracks, London has been expanding on his own DJ sets this year and we are excited to follow his work.

 

 

10. Breathe Carolina

 

Breathe Carolina may be a name you have already heard but maybe not in several years. If you happened to be a scene kid, you may be brought back to the beginning of your electronic transition. Breathe Carolina has been riding a beautiful evolution throughout their career. Find out what they have been up to this year at Global Dance.
