The Official iEDM.com On Blast! Summer Soundtrack

| June 21, 2015
With the summer well on its way and festival season in full swing, you might be wondering what tracks are essential for your summer playlist. Well, prepare to rage, because On Blast! has the top ten tracks that will help you stay turnt all summer long!

10. Kaskade – Never Sleep Alone

Never Sleep Alone is a single from Kaskade, off the upcoming Warner Bros. / Arkade album that’s perfect for lax summer days. With Tess Comrie helping to set the serenic tone with her beautiful vocals, this song would be an amazing addition to any playlist, but since Kaskade is going to be at several US festivals including Electric Forest, EDC Las Vegas, and Global Dance Festival - it has a special place in a summer playlist.

9. TWRK – Helicopter

Helicopter is a super fun track, and it has already been sprinkled into numerous mixes including Twonk Team Volume 7 and the new Diplo mix from Diplo and Friends. This is one of those songs that you can’t help but want to put on one of your coolest rave outfits and dance to, and I am sure there will be many more remixes of this to come.  TWRK is currently touring Canada, but will be doing shows in the US, one being the the Mad Decent Boat Party.

8. Dillon Francis – Zomboy Nuclear Remix

If Dillon Francis himself took to his Facebook to describe the track as, “such a blast to make,” claiming “I was dancing around my studio the whole time I was making it,” then you know the bar’s set high - and it delivers. This track kills with shotgun bass blasts that hit you in the gut (in a good way!). You can see Dillon Francis this summer at many of the Surrender Las Vegas shows and at the Mad Decent Boat Party.

7. Oliver Heldens – Bunnydance

Bunnydance has a bass heavy beat that is sure to keep you shuffling for days. This, just like a lot of other tracks on this list, has been in several mixtapes already this year. This song has an energetic, future house feel, and it is impossible to not move to the drop. Oliver Heldens will be in the US for EDC Las Vegas, but most of his tour dates for this summer are international.

6. Galantis – Runaway (U & I)

While Runaway has been out for a little while, Galantis just dropped Pharmacy which features Runaway and Peanut Butter Jelly. This track is another uplifting track that induces jumps for joy upon pressing play. This song is a perfect fit for any summer dub-mix and will undoubtedly get you ready for Galantis - who will most definitely lay this track down at EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, and Electric Zoo.

5. Jauz Feat. Fatman Scoop – Feel the Volume Pt. II (VIP MIX)

You gotta vibe to this Feel the Volume mix. It’s the type of track that will make you itch to be surrounded by a crowd of people - ready to rage at your favorite festival. Jauz has some nasty drops in this song that will not disappoint. Jauz will be in Canada and the US this summer, and you should look for his name on the Mad Decent Block Party lineups.

4. Flosstradamus – Rihanna “Bitch Better Have My Money,” Official Remix

This is another dirty remix that is, by far, my favorite remix of the uber-popular ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ by Rihanna. Flosstradamus is sure to keep you turnt every day of the week with their incredible trap beats. Flosstradamus will be at Spring Awakening and a couple of the Mad Decent Block Parties.

3. Yellow Claw + Cesqeaux – Legends Feat. Kalibwoy

‘Legends’ is a melodic track with an overall reggae feel, but Yellow Claw and Cesqeaux did not skimp on that bass drop. Not only will this make you want to bust a move or two, but you’ll also want to belt out a note. Yellow Claw and Cesqeaux are from the Barong Family in the Netherlands and they certainly represent Amsterdam’s EDM. These guys have a lot of international tour dates, but you can catch Yellow Claw on some of the Mad Decent Block Party lineups.

2. LNY TNZ + Ruthless – Fired Up (Feat. The Kemist)

‘Fired Up’ is just as fitting at a festival as it is being sung in my shower. I always think of this track as one that you listen to before you go into the club or into a festival. It does not let its name down, because it will definitely get you fired up! This track is awesome and was a really close runner up to the number one track. LNY TNZ and Ruthless are also from the Barong Family and they both have a lot of international tour dates, but you can catch LNY TNZ in the US at EDC Las Vegas.

1. Major Lazer + DJ Snake Feat. M0 – Lean On

This song has hit the top of almost every chart and undeniably deserves this number one spot. Lean On will have you singing, dancing, and leaning on your closest friends while they do the same. This track has the perfect mix of styles, and I am sure we will be listening to this song long after summer. Major Lazer will be at several of the Mad Decent Block Parties, and DJ Snake will be at EDC Las Vegas.
