The Uncertain Future of TomorrowWorld

| February 01, 2016

If you've been following the story of SFX Entertainment, one of the leading electronic music concert production companies who has put together past festivals such as Electric Zoo Festival, TomorrowWorld, Sensation, Life in Color and Mysteryland just to name a few, then you know that SFX has just filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy (Feb. 1st)

Now, adding insult to injury Tomorrowworld ( the American equivalent to Belgium's TomorrowLand) and one of the largest American festivals has just announced the uncertain future of TomorrowWorld for 2016. Following a failed TomorrowWorld festival this past September which, left hundreds of festival goers stranded and SFX's bankruptcy, TomorrowLand's spokesperson Debby Wilmsen spoke to Georgia Unfiltered and had this to say about the future of TomorrowWorld:

"In light of the present situation, no concrete plans have yet been made for TomorrowWorld 2016...."

"The Belgian festival Tomorrowland remains the passion and life’s work of the driving forces behind its creation, Manu & Michiel Beers and their young, motivated staff in Antwerp and they intend to continue to bring the same level of ambition to the festivals in Belgium and abroad in the coming years."

Belgium's TomorrowLand and Tomorrowland Brazil, both managed by the Tomorrowland's Belgium team will go on in 2016 without a hitch. However, we cannot say the same for TomorrowWorld. While, TomorrowWorld is a little whiles away, keep your eyes and ears open for more information as the story develops!
