5 Essential Items To Pack For Survival And Style at a Music Festival

| March 19, 2017

Festival season is right around the corner, and lineups are dropping like overalls at a ho-down! As a festival junkie, and one that likes to be prepared, I decided to give you a short list of some essentials for you to reference when packing for your next big trip!

Whether you're a habitual attendee, or new to the festival world, this short list below is sure to prepare you for any music festival you plan on hitting up this year.

1. Blanket

As important as it is to keep warm at night, your blanket can also be used for relaxation purposes. Once day three or four come along and the festival comes to an end, being off your feet during the middle of the day will save you for the weekend closers. Make sure to bring your blanket so you can chill in the grass.

2. Eyewear

Keeping your eyes protected in the blazing sun is important, but sunglasses aren't the only type of eyewear we are referring to. Diffraction glasses are always a fun accessory to enhance your light show experience.

3. Flow Toys

Any practicing flow artist knows not to make this mistake. However, some people that haven't had much practice may be skeptical to bring their flow toys to a festival because there are other people that are much better than them. In fact, this is the best place to bring your poi, gloves, orbits, staffs, and whatever other props you may use because you can learn tricks from other flowmies.

4. Stay Warm with Onesies and Hoodies

Those late night festival sets can get cold and frigid. Make sure to bundle up with an epic onesie or hoodie. iEDM offers something for everyone, from your favorite cartoon characters to Sacred Geometry.

5. Something That Screams "You"

This is the most important thing you can pack. Music festivals are a place where you can express yourself! Rep your spirit animal or let people know "I like to party." Picking out your favorite shirts, pants, leggingsshorts, and hoodies for a music festival is a fun way to be you.

Packing for a music festival can be stressful, but iEDM is here to make it fun. Tag #iEDMfam in your pictures rocking your iEDM gear on Instagram for a chance to be featured!
