Born in New Jersey and living in NYC, Harrison loves two things more than anything else: telling stories and dancing to electronic music with his friends. He became fully immersed in the world of EDM after experiencing the magical atmosphere of live shows and festivals for the first time.

Harrison hopes that his passion inspires his readers to check out new artists and introduce new people to our beautiful little sub-culture. When he isn’t dancing, Harrison loves to ski and golf, on top of being an avid soccer and MMA fan.

Arooj has been passionate about music for as long as she can remember and loves to express it through her writing and photography. She appreciates music in many forms, although is particularly drawn to electronic music which is where she feels the most at home. She believes in celebrating the transformative power of music and art through her work.

Arooj is dedicated to showcasing the enriching aspects of music culture while helping give incredible artists the recognition they deserve.

Native to Long Beach, California, Paije has been in love with dance music since childhood, which blossomed into a love for its community and events later on. Over time, she has become a dedicated fan of all EDM subgenres, with a special affinity for industrial and melodic techno, dubstep and riddim, electro house and trance, and DnB.

Paije recently graduated with a B.S. in geology and paleontology and spends her free time searching for new additions to her collection of playlists, watching history documentaries, researching obscure topics, and attempting to keep up with her husky’s energy.

Synardia is from Kansas City, Missouri. When she’s not writing for iEDM you can probably find her hula-hooping, at a festival, or both. Two of Synardia’s biggest hobbies are painting and fashion.

“I love expressing myself through my clothes. Also, I have an obsession with plushies, so if you see a girl head banging at the rail with a plushy, it’s most likely me.”

Fueled by his passion for EDM, Connor’s life revolves around dance music and its ability to bring people together. Raised in upstate New York, Connor was deprived of festivals and raves until he attended Florida State University, where he was instantly hooked. Fast-forward to today and Connor has become a house and melodic techno DJ, an avid EDM-based interviewer and writer, and has worked PR for the likes of Matroda, Bleu Clair, and other new-wave house icons.

Outside of music, Connor loves pretty much any sport (huge Knicks, Yankees, and NY Giants fan), going on hikes, traveling, and food. Based in Florida, there’s a good chance you will eventually run into Connor at one of the popular festivals and clubs throughout the state.

Joe McCarthy is a writer based in Brooklyn, who resides with his wife and two chihuahuas. You can find him dancing most weekends at the Knockdown Center, Elsewhere, Good Room, Brooklyn Mirage, and other prominent house and techno venues. Joe is constantly searching for new artists who experiment with genre and is excited about the ways in which EDM is evolving.

Taylor Powers is a writer and music festival photographer based in Chicago, IL. Her favorite medium of expression is poetry, though she loves capturing moments of intimacy, joy, and jubilation on film. Taylor spent much of her young adulthood exploring the EDM scene, drawn to its core tenets of radical love and freedom of expression, as well as its infectious beats. When she’s not waiting for a new Rezz album to drop, you can find her at the climbing gym.

As an aspiring journalist and digital media whiz, Destinee has always felt a connection to the energy of dance music. She is passionate about the EDM community and enjoys writing articles on everything EDM related from fashion, artists, and music festivals. She is based in Los Angeles and enjoys spending her free time exploring the city, reading at local coffee shops, and blasting bass-house and dubstep playlists at the gym. Destinee is devoted to contributing her work to the EDM scene and celebrates electronic dance music to the fullest.

Based in the birthplace of house music, Chicago, IL, Ally discovered the magic of electronic music during her time at Florida State University.She is a fan of a wide variety of music, but electronic music makes her feel most alive. Most of her friends don’t enjoy EDM, so often times you can find her raving with like-minded strangers. She enjoys spending her free time exploring new places, new foods, and dancing to loud music in the kitchen.
