[LISTEN] Steller Unveils Self-Released ‘Here & Now’ EP Stemming From Creative Breakthrough

Steller’s latest body of work, Here & Now EP, has arrived a fully independent release and turning point in this rising producer’s evolution. The four-track EP serves as a postscript to her recently wrapped headline tour and captures the personal breakthroughs that emerged during its creation.

Developed during a period of deep introspection, the EP marks a shift toward self-awareness and emotional clarity. “Each song invokes a different feeling, almost like a meditation,” Steller shares. “Though it is not ambient meditation music, it is meant to make you feel good and offer emotional relief. I was working through a lot while writing this and found peace by the end. Hopefully, it does that for someone else, too.”

The opening track, "Here & Now," was designed as an immersive experience for live audiences. Anchored by hypnotic vocal loops and escalating snare work, it laid the foundation for the full project. According to Steller, finishing this track first unlocked the creative flow that led to the entire EP coming together in just two weeks.

“Downslide” brings collaborative energy into the fold, blending funk rhythms and distorted bass with a feature from producer Seth David. “Working with Seth was seamless — he sent over a sick idea, and I built off of that,” she says. “You can really hear our sounds in each drop. His vibe is drop one, mine is drop two.”

The EP’s third track, “Down With You,” is a stripped-back, emotional piece grounded in personal experience. Steller explains that it came from a mentally heavy place and became one of the most vulnerable records on the project.

Closing the EP is “Eternal Love,” a cinematic, textured finale that signals resolution. “I remember writing the outro chords and just feeling like I could exhale for the first time,” she recalls. “That moment was my creative reset.”

The Here & Now EP reflects both an artistic and personal re-centering for Steller, following a national tour that included appearances at EDC Las Vegas, Forbidden Kingdom, and Beyond Wonderland.

With more tour dates in the works and additional viral flips circulating across platforms like SoundCloud, Steller continues to move forward with focus, vulnerability, and momentum.
