[LISTEN] WonkyWilla Expands His Bass Universe With 'Wonksgiving Vol. II' EP
WonkyWilla continues his rise as one of bass music’s most distinct creative forces with the release of 'Wonksgiving Vol. II,' a three-track EP arriving Thanksgiving Eve and landing the same night as his annual charity show.
Dropping independently, the project captures his world of imaginative bass while doubling down on a message that has become central to his artistry: music has real power when it builds community.
Opening with “The System,” WonkyWilla teams up with DJ-producer Homemade Spaceship and renowned MC Def3 for an explosive statement piece.
The track weaves razor-edged hip-hop cadence into funk-charged dubstep, fueled by sharp lyricism and a heavy, commanding groove. It is the kind of record built for sticky dancefloors, booming speakers, and fans who crave bass with intention.
“Woozy,” made alongside rising producer Sloth, pushes deeper into WonkyWilla’s experimental instincts. Warped sound design, woozy wubs, and deconstructed rhythms shape the track into a swirling low-end mirage.
Closing the EP, “Algorithmic” with Blvcksmith charges forward with aggressive vocals and serrated soundplay, delivering a final punch of bass-fueled chaos.
“Wonksgiving has always been about bringing people together around music and good energy,” shared WonkyWilla. “This EP feels like the soundtrack to that moment: when friends reunite, the dance floor comes alive, and everyone remembers why we do this in the first place. Beyond the music, it is about giving back to the same community that has given so much to me.”
The EP’s release aligns with his annual Wonksgiving show in Texas, a community-driven event donating ticket proceeds to Texas CASA to support children in need.
Fans are also encouraged to participate in a food and clothing drive, with giveaways for those who contribute. It’s an initiative that reflects WonkyWilla’s values as deeply as his sound, offering a moment to celebrate, reconnect, and give back.

The project also arrives in the middle of WonkyWilla’s nationwide Galactic Circus Tour, a 30+ date headline run that includes stops at Webster Hall, The Roxy, The Showbox, Crystal Ballroom, and beyond.
His recent mainstage moment at Hulaween reaffirmed his growing momentum, drawing thousands to one of the festival’s most memorable sets.

Looking ahead, WonkyWilla gears up for a two-night sold-out takeover at Denver’s Ogden Theatre this January with “Wonky’s World,” a new large-scale concept blending eccentric visuals, interactive performers, and a lineup stacked with bass heavyweights.
With 'Wonksgiving Vol. II,' he closes out the year with a project that captures both the imagination and heart at the center of everything he creates.
