This week’s roundup features fresh releases from BARELY ALIVE, Chicco Secci, Bexxie and Claude VonStoke, showcasing the best in Dubstep, Afro House, Melodic House, and underground Tech House. Whether it is a festival-ready anthem or a forward-thinking studio cut, these picks highlight the artists shaping the scene right now.
BARELY ALIVE – “HANDS UP”
BARELY ALIVE continues their unstoppable 2025 run with “HANDS UP,” an explosive new single that cements their reign as leaders of modern bass music.
Fresh off a legendary Lost Lands performance, where their DJing robot alter-ego WATT delivered a set packed with unreleased IDs and nostalgia-fueled chaos, the duo returns with another heavy-hitting anthem engineered for festival domination.
“HANDS UP” opens with a cinematic rush of futuristic soundscapes, commanding claps, and bold vocals that instantly set the tone. As the buildup intensifies, the hook demands pure crowd participation before the drop detonates into a barrage of brostep-inspired chops and cutting-edge bass design.
The energy only amplifies on the second drop, introducing new textures that keep the momentum at full throttle. Crafted for rail-riders and mainstage moments alike, “HANDS UP” is BARELY ALIVE at their most unrelenting, loud, fearless, and built for mayhem.

Chicco Secci – “Running In The Air”
After an eight-year hiatus, international DJ and producer Chicco Secci makes his long-awaited return with “Running In The Air,” on Sirup Music’s sub-label Club Control.
With a legacy spanning over four decades across Italy, Ibiza, and Miami, Chicco stands as one of the genre’s true pioneers. He is an artist whose sound and residencies have helped shape modern house and club culture.
“Running In The Air” marks Secci’s first official release since 2017’s “African Vanilla,” fusing Afro-inspired percussion, haunting vocals, and flowing, melodic rhythms into an ethereal yet dance-driven journey.
This track reflects Chicco’s unmistakable touch, elegant, hypnotic, and deeply rooted in soul, bridging timeless house foundations with a forward-thinking global sound.
Released as part of Sirup Music’s 25th anniversary celebration, the single honors the label’s ongoing commitment to curating electronic music legends and innovators.

Bexxie channels pure nostalgia in “Endless Nights,” a euphoric love letter to the nineties out now via Sweat It Out. Built around soaring piano chords and Bexxie’s own shimmering vocals, the track captures the thrill of moments that feel infinite yet fleeting.
“Endless Nights is about the excitement of moments you can never fully return to,” she shares. With its classic house flair, uplifting energy, and heartfelt emotion, the single feels like rediscovering dance music for the first time.

Claude VonStroke — “Bobblehead”
Following a high-impact stretch of headline shows across CRSSD, Splash House, Club Space, and Outside Lands, Claude VonStroke returns with “Bobblehead,” a stripped-back club weapon built for pure movement.
This song finds the Dirtybird founder in classic form, lean, percussive, and focused on groove above all else.
Driven by a low-slung bassline and rubbery, syncopated drums, “Bobblehead” moves with hypnotic precision. Twisted vocal chops and subtle rhythmic shifts keep the tension high, showcasing Claude’s mastery of minimal funk and floor-ready energy.
It is a track that thrives on simplicity yet radiates personality, designed to command the dancefloor without ever overreaching.
