Collab Dream Come True: Porter Robinson & Madeon Are Going On Tour Together This Fall
It's every EDM fan's dream come true. The two most prized current producers have teamed up and are going on tour. Porter Robinson and Madeon first collaborated on the newest hit "Shelter."
Following this hit, they announced that the two of them would be embarking on a joint tour this fall. "Shelter" is a song that perfectly displays the two artist's signature style together.
The vocals have Porter's defining production tone all over them, supplied by Madeon. Their dreamscape of sounds meshed together was a great hit for the summer.
These two rising stars have been friends for some time before deciding to embark on their new shared journey.
Origins
The two of them both met on an online producing forum during the process of creating their albums.
Madeon had this to say about their relationship,"Both Porter and I started working with people in-person when we started making our respective albums and appreciated how much more collaborative you can get. Our intent was to make music that would reflect our friendship."
It was only a natural progression for the two of them to take this studio dynamic they had and show it off to the world. Collaboration in-person has a lot of added caveats producers don't get through just online.
If anyone was to see that clearly, it would be these two artists. The two of them kick off the tour in Atlanta on Sept. 29. This isn't going to be a standard one after the other performance.
Both Porter and Madeon are going to be playing side by side during the show, simultaneously playing together while they put a new spin on both of their musical cache.
