| September 26, 2018

Imagine Festival visionaries Glenn and Madeleine Goodhand, along with their team, pulled out all the tricks for the five year anniversary. Imagine Festival has blossomed into one of the best music festivals the Southeast has to offer. After this year, the festival can no longer be denied its place amongst the best!

Here are the top 10 things that we loved about Imagine Festival 2018.

10. Line Up Diversity

The diversity of the lineup was extraordinary. Whether you were into Drum and Bass, Trance, Dubstep, House or Bass Music Imagine Festival had something to offer for every EDM-lover. In the same day patrons were able to catch the UK Legends Ivy Lab and then hop over to Green Velvet, Walker & Royce, ZHU or Liquid Stranger. No matter your music preference, you were sure to find something that will get you grooving.

9. Brand New Art Installations

This year Imagine Festival filled in the spaces by adding beautiful interactive art pieces throughout the festival allowing patrons a place to stop and explore while they were traveling between stages.

8. Over The Top Production

The production quality this year was top notch filled with massive pyrotechnics and breathtaking firework shows. The main stage was bigger and better than ever. With a brand new stage design they brought the Aquatic Fairytale to life!

7. Splash Pool By Day, Water Projections By Night

The Imagine Festival Splash Pool was the perfect place to cool off during the day. They hosted interactive games which allowed patrons to let loose, keep cool and meet new friends. However, it was at night that the pool really came to life with breathtaking water projections from Hermetic Productions.

6. Imaginary Friends To Keep You Safe

Staying hydrated is a very important element to staying safe at music festivals. All weekend, Imagine Festival had a group of roaming volunteers passing out free water to patrons in need.

5. Local ATL Representation

Imagine Festival has always been known to highlight the best local and regional artists in the Southeast. Providing artists a massive platform to showcase their talents alongside the best EDM artists in the world. The Shipwreck and The 6 Feathers Stage were among the many places you could find local and regional talent showcased all weekend. Artists like Eddie Gold, Midnite Panda, Jax, Ployd, Andy Bruh and Laser Assassins proved that they have what it takes to perform in this massive division.

4. Renegade Stages

After the festival grounds shut down the Bass Family ATL, Heady Made Weird, Shut up or Slut UP and Silent Disco kept the party going into the early morning. Complete with sound systems and hefty nightly lineups imagineers danced until sunrise with secret sets by Yheti, 12 Planet and more.

3. Campground Activities

Imagine Festival hosted a variety activities in the campground for their patrons that included games, transformational workshops and yoga. This provided a variety of options for patrons to connect with their fellow campmates.

2. Port Royal

Located inside the campgrounds, the Port Royal’s art installation enhanced the camping experience with graffiti art murals, live performances and even a general store. This was an amazing addition to the camping experience as they curated a beautiful oasis for patrons to relax and be creative.

1. Smiles

Imagine Festival was a truly magical experience. Everywhere we looked there were beaming smiles from people having the time of their lives. Imagine Festival brought together people from all walks of life, who traded their everyday stressors for smiles.
