5 Types of Eyewear to Enhance Your Next Festival Experience

| February 23, 2017

Festival eyewear comes in all shapes, sizes, styles and colors. With the absolute deluge of glasses and goggles available, we’re here to break it down for you.

Here are five types of eyewear for you to add to your festival look. Feel free to mix and match, you can never have too many!

1. Regular Sunglasses

Regular sunglasses are often forgotten in the festival eyewear category. Not all festivals are at night and wearing sunglasses during daytime events protects them from harmful UV rays.

But even at night, regular sunglasses are still a good accessory. The LED and strobe lights from the stage can get a bit intense at times, and slipping on a regular pair of sunglasses can give you the much-needed break when lights have been going for hours.

2. Light Up Glasses

Light Up Glasses

Light up glasses are a fun accessory for festivals. People will certainly do a double-take when they see you wearing flashing colorful glasses.

They come in a variety of colors and frames, and the small battery pack makes it easy to carry around festival grounds. You’ll have no shortage of compliments when you’re rocking our illuminated glasses.

3. Diffraction Glasses

One of the most popular festival accessories on the market today are diffraction glasses. These glasses split beams of light and the viewer can see light in its full spectrum.

Translation? While wearing our diffraction glasses, regular white light is broken down into rainbow light. Since lights are such a huge feature at shows (light shows, strobe lights, stage visuals, etc.) diffraction glasses are a festival must-have.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can check out our double diffraction glasses, you get twice the effect of our regular diffraction lenses.

4. Kaleidoscope Goggles

Similar to diffraction glasses kaleidoscope goggles also change the way we see light. Unlike diffraction glasses, kaleidoscope goggles don’t break down light, but light is reflected off of multi-faceted surfaces in the lenses.

This means that while light isn’t broken into its spectrum, its multiplied. And not just light, but everything you look at through our kaleidoscope goggles will be reflected and multiplied like a kaleidoscope.

Goggles tend to be tougher and more durable than glasses, and they look just as good around your neck when you take a break from all the visuals.

5. Retro Kaleidoscope Glasses

Kaleidoscope glasses combine the best of both worlds with kaleidoscope effects and the lightness of glasses. Our kaleidoscope glasses come in a variety of colors and styles, with different frames and shapes that you can use to match any festival look.

Enhance your next festival through our kaleidoscope glasses for an experience you'll never forget!
