Coachella Drops 2018 Lineup
Coachella is one of the most popular West Coast music festivals in the United States and even though 2018 has just started, the popular April festival has announced its 2018 lineup.
Headliners for the highly anticipated 2018 show include The Weeknd, Beyonce and Eminem. While Coachella is not traditionally EDM-centric, the popular festival often features many of our favorite DJs and producers and 2018 is no exception.
Last year, Coachella had several big EDM acts on the stage, from the final leg of Porter Robinson and Madeon's wildly successful Shelter tour to names like Dillon Francis, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, Galantis and more. For 2018, Coachella continues to bring EDM to its famed main stage, but this year Coachella brings a very different (and in my opinion, a little less mainstream) EDM lineup.
We've broken down the DJs and EDM producers who will be at Coachella by day (for the purposes of brevity we will not be including non-EDM artists on our list, but check out the full lineup HERE) Click on any of the artists to check out their SoundCloud! There are many talented non-EDM artists on Coachella's lineup, so definitely check them out as well!
Friday
Saturday
Sunday
If you aren't familiar with many of the names on the lineup, or simply feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start, I highly recommend attending on Sunday (yes I'm biased) for melodic and emotive sets. Odesza and Illenium are both coming off wildly successful tours and will be bringing huge sets to Coachella. (In fact, we called Illenium's AWAKE the album of the year.)
Rezz will also bring a heavy set to Coachella, with her unique and characteristic space bass bringing a different sound to the Indio Valley. Kygo's deep house and Ekali's hybrid trap will also be sets not to miss. Coachella brings a different EDM vibe to its stages this year and they've picked some of the best, from established artists to up-and-comers.
Coachella will be running for two weekends in April, the 13th-15th and the 20th-22nd. California's most famous festival will take place once again in the Indio Valley. Passes go on sale on Friday, January 5th at 12:00 PM PST. Click HERE for ticketing info. Keep in mind that Coachella sells out fast, so be ready to buy your tickets the day they drop!
