| December 05, 2016

Every year we're faced with so many decisions and amazing festivals to go to. It seems we have a festival for every occasion too, doesn't it? There are an amazing amount of festivals for Halloween we're we can dress even crazier than usual. There are events in the spring time and festivals to usher in the start of summer.

Did you think that there wouldn't be an amazing festival to bring in the new year with a bang?! There are festivals and events all over the country that you need to check out to keep the party rolling into the new year and beyond.

Here are some of the best curated festivals from around the whole country. We'll look at a a divided list on a spot that's closest to you.

1. Reaction New Years Eve - Chicago

This is a premier festival for everyone in the Midwest. Throughout the year we've seen some of the best come through the Midwest. The two day festival to end out the year is no exception. We have Flume headlining on December 30th and on December 31st there is Zeds Dead to bring in 2017.

At the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, be prepared to engulf your senses amidst a huge crowning hall of music and sound. The venue is one you won't forget as you feel like you've been transported to some kind of mythical underground area. There's no better way to bring in the New Year.

2. Countdown - Southern California

Insomniac has given us some of the best festivals throughout the year. They definitely aren't going to disappoint in the end of the year either. The aptly titled countdown is going to blast us out into the new year.

With a stacked two day lineup including A-Track, Diplo, Zedd, Chainsmokers and more, you are in for a treat. Head over to the west coast in southern California to enjoy a new blast to the future.

3. Decadence (Colorado)

Decadence is a two-day festival that boasts a lineup of incredible artists. Tiesto, Chainsmokers, Disclosure, and Bassnectar will be bringing in 2017 right on December 30th and 31st at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.

The theme this year is "City of Dreams" and they feature multiple stages, art installations, and performers. Flume will ring in 2017 when the ball drops so be prepared for all the feels.

4. Bassnectar 360

Bassheads rejoice! If you haven't got enough of Bassnectar everywhere else then come to his final event of the year on the 31st. He'll be backed by a couple different artists like Gramatik and Joker and the Librarian.

Bassnectar's 360-degree stage production is worth traveling to Birmingham, Alabama for. No matter where you're standing, you get epic views of the rotating stage and incredible sound with feel good bass.

5. Lights All Night

Don't worry if you're down south and looking for another spot to rage. Head over to Dallas, Texas for two nights of Texan hospitality.

Be prepared to ride a trajectory of sound into 2017 with Deadmau5, Deadmau5, and Zedd headlining for the final two days of one of the best years around. The venue is filled with, you guessed it, lights all night long.

These are just some of the best festivals throughout the country that are going to get you throwing those hands up and counting down to 2017 in the most raging way possible.
