Groove Cruise Miami to Great Stirrup Cay Commemorates 20th Anniversary in 2024

| January 18, 2023

During the last two decades, Whet Travel's Groove Cruise has become the world leader in providing unimaginable getaway and entertainment experiences. The flagship event is the only independent music cruise on both the East and West coasts of the United States and it has stayed this way since its creation in 2004. With Groove Cruise Miami 2023 officially sold out, ravers are looking to the future to be a part of the festival-meets-vacation outing of a lifetime.

Falling into this category, Groove Cruise Miami 2024 will be a special edition for partygoers, overflowing with surprises and interactive features. Although pre-sales for the event are already sold out, general ticket sales will open on December 7th at 3PM EST. Taking off from Miami, Florida, on Wednesday, January 24th, Groove Cruise welcomes music lovers from across the globe aboard the Norwegian Encore.

Delivering 96 hours of uninterrupted music, this oversea adventure will have nine stages, more than 80 groundbreaking artists, themed parties, and beachside destination concerts. Some other components that sets Groove Cruise apart is its artist-led activities, mental health panels, and the Whet Foundation volunteer experience that aims to give back to those in need.

Recognized for its immaculate size and extensive forms of entertainment, the Norwegian Encore will be the biggest ship to ever set sail for Groove Cruise. It encompasses an open-air laser tag arena, a VR gaming room, a water park with two massive water slides, and even a race track that's over 1,000 feet long. Complementing these amenities, the resort-style ship has eight hot tubs and pools, a elaborate fitness center, casino, and a full-package spa that includes a salt room, thermal suite, specialty treatments, and more. When it comes to dining, the Encore has 40 bars and restaurants and a mesmerizing Observation Lounge with 180 degree views.

In addition to the ship upgrade, Groove Cruise Miami 2024 will be heading to the exotic private island of Great Stirrup Cay. Located in the Bahamas, this island is exclusive to Norwegian Cruise Line guests and encompasses beautiful white sand beaches. A variety of expeditions at the island will be offered to attendees, such as a zip-line excursion, parasailing, wave runners, swimming with pigs at Treasure Island, and much more.

Shocking the world of music and entertainment, Groove Cruise's 2024 20th anniversary announcements follows the selling out of Groove Cruise Miami 2023. This event takes off next month on the 19th, heading to the wonderland of Labadee, Haiti. Its stacked lineup will feature breathtaking performances from Markus Schulz, Claptone, Jauz, Nora En Pure, along with another 60-plus gifted acts. Maintaining prices similar to Miami 2023, Groove Cruise 2024 is bound to sell-out quickly. So grab your tickets on December 7th and seize this magnificent opportunity of a historic EDM-fueled vacation.
