Here's What You Can't Miss At Dancefestopia 2017

| September 04, 2017

Helicopter rides over the festival grounds, national shuffler, glover, and hooper meet-ups, canoe trips down the river, and non-stop dancing to all your favorite EDM artists sounds like a weekend in raver paradise. Dancefestopia even gives fans the opportunity to introduce their favorite DJ on stage.

Dancefestopia VI is the ultimate dance music festival that takes over Kansas City (Sugar Creek) at La Benite Riverfront Park directly on the Missouri River this September 7th-10th.

Gather up your camping gear (check out our festival checklist HERE) and gather up the squad for an unforgettable weekend with biggest line up that Dancefestopia has ever experienced. There is something for every genre of EDM lover from big names such as Tiesto, Dillon Francis, and Bassnectar.

This festival is well known for its magical set up by the Missouri River, a new massive ferris wheel, and plenty of activities for festival-goers to stay busy in a weekend that is promised to be a once in a lifetime experience. Get your best rave wear ready and join your DFT fam under the trees along the gorgeous riverfront.

Dancefestopia has music that goes all night long

There is non-stop music, massive bass and a HUGE NEW STAGE with a line up that has something for everybody. There are three stages total with huge production so don't forget those rave glasses for an enhanced light show experience.

From iEDM favorites Quintino and Boombox Cartel, to some heavy filth from 12th Planet, this weekend full of music is promised to fill your expectations.

Here are 5 sets you can't miss:

1. GRUM

With two of his most recent singles “Shout” and “Under Your Skin” that have accomplished #1 in the Beatport Progressive & Trance Charts, Scottish electronic musician and producer known as GRUM will deliver one of a kind progressive set that you don't want to miss.

2. No Mana

In just under one year, he started to release his unique material under mau5trap which shows what he's all about. Catch him on the second day of DFT with a set promised to be full of voltaic electro house.

3. SMIIRK

In proportion with his latest remix of “Mi Gente” and having Lollapalooza 2016 under his belt, this rising talented DJ at the tender age of 18 will take over The Rage Stage at 9pm on Sunday. In his own words SMIIRK has promised not to hold back and his set its going to be bass heavy.

4. Dillon Francis

Unquestionably, this is the way to start off this three day festival. Dillon Francis will make you get low and have you shaking your body to his moombahton bangers. This set will definitely be one of the few where you won't see anyone sitting down on the hill.

5. Bassnectar

If you’ve witness him then you know what to expect. Although his sets are different everytime, Bassnectar will drop more than just music, he will take you on a musical journey through his entire set. Just go see it for yourself.

This year will be the largest Dancefestopia yet, and you want to be part of this breathtaking experience. Grab your camping gear, get your gloves ready, and clean your favorite pair of shoes because this weekend is full of surprising adventures and great music.
