iEDM's Official Guide to Nocturnal Wonderland 2023

With Nocturnal Wonderland just around the corner, it is imperative to finalize travel, camping, and festival plans. iEDM has compiled all of the most important directions, guidelines, maps, and amenities options to make sure the festival experience goes smoothly, leaving attendees free to enjoy the magical environment that Insomniac Events hosts annually to kick off the Fall festival season.

General Information

 

Dates: September 16 - September 17, 2023

Venue Location: Glen Helen Regional Park 2555 Glen Helen Pkwy San Bernardino, CA 92407

Festival: 3pm – Midnight daily

Box office: Saturday, September 16 + Sunday, September 17, 2023
2PM – 11PM

Camping: Friday, 9/15, 10am – Monday, 9/18, 3pm

Age Restrictions: 18+ with ID

COVID-19 Policy: No vaccination, testing or masking requirements.

Cancellation Policy: The event will take place Rain Or Shine.

Re-Entry Policy: All campers will have in/out privileges to and from the festival (during festival hours) and a dedicated campers-only festival entrance. Festivalgoers who do not have valid camping wristbands will not have in/out privileges from the festival to the campground or access to the campground at any time.

Parking Passes: Free general parking is offered adjacent to the venue. Do not park in any unofficial lots outside of the festival and venue map. Vehicles must vacate the parking lot each day at the close of the festival. Any vehicles left in the lot after each festival day will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. ADA parking will be provided near the festival entrance.

Rideshare/ Drop-offs:  Request a ride and let Uber take you to and from our USC (McAlister Field) and OC (Fullerton Park & Ride) shuttle pickup locations. All direct festival drop-offs and pickups must go to the designated Guest Drop-Off and Pickup location in the Purple Lot; located outside of Gate 2 at the intersection of Glen Helen Road and Glen Helen Parkway.

Campground Prohibited Items

  • NO Aerosol products/cans
  • NO Air horns
  • NO Alcohol for minors. You must be 21+ to drink within the campground. If entering with alcohol, you must present government-issued identification. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department will frequent the campground and randomly card campers seen drinking alcohol. Underage drinkers risk receiving a citation or even being arrested. 21+ campers are advised to carry their government-issued identification AT ALL TIMES.
  • NO Bota bags
  • NO Breakable glass or acrylic mirrors (compact makeup and shatter-proof, plastic mirrors measuring less then 8″x8″ are OK)
  • NO Butane accessories, such as torches or grills
  • NO Candles
  • NO Drones or remote-controlled aircraft
  • NO Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • NO Fireworks
  • NO Gas generators (solar-powered generators OK)
  • NO Gas masks
  • NO Glass bottles (small bottles of perfume/cologne are OK)
  • NO Helium balloons
  • NO Hookahs
  • NO Illegal substances
  • NO Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • NO Large speaker systems (Sound systems are limited to USB-powered/personal portable speakers. No amplified sound systems allowed.)
  • NO Laser pointers
  • NO LED gloves or LED microlights used for light shows
  • NO Liquor above 16% ABV or glass of any kind.
  • NO Loose cans or beverages (must be packaged and sealed at entry)
  • NO Loose pills without a prescription, or expired medications of any kind (all medications, prescription or otherwise, must be in their original container)
  • NO Medical or recreational marijuana
  • NO Metal stakes & hammers
  • NO Mirrors
  • NO Motorized vehicles of any kind, including golf carts, dune buggies, off-road motorcycles, Segways, electric bicycles, hoverboards, powered skateboards or scooters (bicycles OK)
  • NO Open campfires or fires/flames of any kind (propane grills OK)
  • NO Open packs of cigarettes (upon entry)
  • NO Pets (except service animals)
  • NO Professional recording equipment—photo, video or audio (detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial-use rigs)
  • NO Promotional flyers, promotional/corporate branded banners, or vehicles displaying sponsorships or ads
  • NO Solar camping showers
  • NO Spray paint
  • NO Steel knives and other utensils deemed as weapons
  • NO Stickers, flyers
  • NO Stuffed animals or dolls
  • NO Toolboxes
  • NO Unauthorized vending of food or merchandise, including alcohol
  • NO Weapon or weapon accessories of any kind, real or fictional (including whips, lightsabers, pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, fake weapons/props, etc.)

  • YES Factory-sealed e-juice (allowed upon entry into campground but not into festival grounds)

  • YES Glowsticks (string glowstick/LED poi, whips and orbitals are permitted but must be performed 5′ away from others)

Lockers are internally equipped with a universal phone charger. Each locker measures approximately 8″ high, 12″ wide, and 18″ deep—plenty of space for backpacks or purses.
