iEDM: How has living in the Balearic Islands impacted your taste in music? Are there any cultural influences you have picked up there that you weave into your tracks?
B Jones: Of course, Ibiza is a meeting point between different sounds and electronic cultures with which I have grown as an artist, my sound, even though it is mainstream, I try to merge with percussion and Balearic sounds.
iEDM: Why were you drawn to “Infinity 2008” as a project you wanted to reinvent? How did you embrace certain elements of the original while incorporating your own style and musical identity in “Infinity 2023”?
B Jones: It is one of my favorite songs from the 90s, in all these years it has always been playing on my set in different versions, remixes, mashup. This year I decided to do my version to play it in Tomorrowland Winter, it was a success!
iEDM: What sparked your desire to launch Come Closer Records? What is your overall vision for the label and how do you plan on achieving it?
B Jones: Come Closer was born to give me the freedom as an artist to share my music with my fans in a more free way without having to wait for opinions from big labels. It is growing little by little, and my goal is to continue releasing my music and that of other artists.
iEDM: What were some of the best parts about working with Rudeejay and Robbie Rosen on your recent single “Face Your Fears”?
B Jones: I always learn new things with the people I work with, it was rewarding and inspiring at the same time.
iEDM: What inspired the idea for your brand-new single, “I’ll Keep You High”?
B Jones: This song is clearly the reflection of B Jones and my set. My music is always pure energy, embodying great melodies, vocals, and energetic drops all at the same time.
iEDM: What was the toughest challenge you faced when creating the instrumental for “I’ll Keep You High”, and how were you able to overcome this?
B Jones: We worked hard to find a very particular high energy tracks with lots of percussion and some Spanish street drums influences to hit the main stage really hard.
iEDM: How did it feel to be the first-ever Spanish artist to perform on Tomorrowland’s main stage last year?
B Jones: It was one of the best experiences of my entire life, and at the same time a great responsibility for being the first Spaniard. There was a big Spanish representation in the crowd.
iEDM: You have three upcoming performances at each of the Tomorrowland festivals this year. How do you aim to craft your sets differently in order to fit the region and crowd you are playing for, between Belgium and Brazil?
B Jones: Right now I am working on my set for Belgium. My three sets (winter, summer, Brazil) will have similar sounds and style, but at the same time they will be different and unique and inspired by the place that I will perform in.

B Jones: I am quite simple and comfortable, I identify a lot with Ibiza-based fashion. I love boots and the Tulum style too. I still do not have an outfit ready, but I will follow these preferences.
iEDM: What are some of your favorite features and highlights of your experiences at Tommorowland? What are you most excited about in regard to your forthcoming sets there?
B Jones: The warmth of the people was the best of all, especially seeing so many Spanish people supporting me. I can't wait to repeat it this year.
iEDM: What is your biggest goal as an artist to reach over the next five years? How do you expect to accomplish this objective?
B Jones: My goal is to continue working on my own sound and reach the whole world with my songs. To achieve this, I will continue working hard day by day.
