5 Of The Most Anticipated Sets For Electric Zoo 2016
| September 02, 2016

If you're in the same position as me right now, then you're also probably finding it a huge struggle when it comes to planning your schedule for the festival we've been waiting all year for; the only place where you can let go of all your troubles and worries, and completely unleash the animal within Electric Zoo.

Three days of a stacked lineup with genres and artists as far as the eye can see can definitely be overwhelming, and there is a craft and strategy when it comes to planning your schedule.

But to make your lives a little easier, we're going to list out some of the most anticipated sets for this year's zoo that are gonna be a must-see.

Brace yourselves, animals:

1) Anna Lunoe | Riverside Stage - Friday - 7 PM

Anna Lunoe is making her way downtown (in this case, to Randall's Island Park) to play her very first Electric Zoo!

Lunoe packs in a punch during her sets, which is exactly why she made history by being the first solo woman to ever play the EDC Las Vegas mainstage. Pretty impressive, right? Catch the "bass drum dealer" herself dish out some some hard-hitting, energetic, funky beats.

2) Porter Robinson (Live) | Main Stage - Saturday - 8:15 PM

Does this really even need an explanation as to why Porter is a must-see at Ezoo this year? If you need further convincing, click here.

3) Bassnectar | Main Stage - Friday - 9:25 PM

Bassnectar is notorious for attracting some of the rowdiest bassheads around, so you better believe that you will see people unleash the inner animal within when he graces the mainstage.

Everyone has to experience a Nectar set once in their lives- so if you're going to Zoo and miss out on seeing him, then did you really even go to Ezoo? And disclaimer: you WILL get some major bass in yo face during his set, so here's a little sneak preview of what will happen when the bass hits...

4) Codeko | Main Stage - Sunday - 1:00 PM

One can only imagine what if feels like to be a star on the rise, and to have skyrocketed to the top in such a short amount of time. But for Codeko, this is all a reality.

This UK-native DJ and producer has been absolutely slaying lately, and was honored with making the first ever Official "Electric Zoo" Anthem titled "Walking With Lions." You can experience history in the making and walk (or in this case, dance) with the rest of us lions as Codeko opens the mainstage on Sunday!

5) Moon Boots | Sunday School - Friday - 7:00 PM

Grab your moon boots and defy gravity with the soulful, disco sounds of NYC's very own Moon Boots.

If you're looking for get REALLY groovy in Zoo's iconic little Sunday School stage utopia, then this will be the set for you. Being the perfect addition to the Anjunadeep curated stage, Moon Boots will show you what it feels like to have an out-of-body experience. So looks like you'll know where to find me channeling my inner disco baby on Friday, fam.
