NITTI Unveils Halloween Remix Of My Chemical Romance’s 'Welcome To The Black Parade'

| November 04, 2024

Electronic music powerhouse and Grammy-winning producer NITTI is back with a fresh remix of My Chemical Romance’s iconic emo anthem “Welcome to the Black Parade,” released October 31, 2024.

Known for his genre-crossing style, NITTI combines elements of drum & bass and rocktronic to give this beloved track an electrifying new life, just in time for Halloween. This release is more than a remix; it is a reflection of NITTI's ongoing transformation as he explores emo-inspired themes within the dance music space.

The remix starts in familiar territory, with a soft piano melody backing Gerard Way’s unforgettable opening lyrics, “When I was a young boy, my father took me into the city…” As the song progresses, NITTI’s distinct approach takes the reins.

Heavy drum and bass beats pulse through the track, with intense bass drops and gritty sound design seamlessly woven in. NITTI’s take on the original balances respect for the band’s legacy with innovative electronic elements that build on the raw emotion of the original while adding an irresistible drive.

NITTI’s latest remix is part of a recent series of reimagined rock and metal classics that have struck a chord with fans and newcomers alike. This past summer, he released crowd-pleasing remixes of Slipknot’s “Duality,” System of a Down’s “Chop Suey!,” and a cover of Linkin Park’s “Numb.”

His current musical direction aligns with his new label, ALT/RAVE, a platform for his unique “rocktronic” sound that brings together rock, emo, and bass-driven electronic music. Recent originals like “Stay Away,” featuring Micah Martin, and “White Knuckles,” with alt-metal artist BRAYTON, demonstrate his commitment to pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

Beyond these recent releases, NITTI’s accomplishments are already vast. He earned a Grammy for co-producing the track “200 MPH” with Bad Bunny and Diplo and recently received a People’s Choice Country Award nomination. His career includes collaborations with major artists like Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, and DJ Snake, and he’s graced stages at festivals like Ultra, EDC, and Okeechobee.

Now, through ALT/RAVE, he’s channeling that experience into a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-looking, captivating fans who crave the energy of rock and the intensity of electronic music.

NITTI’s Halloween remix of “Welcome to the Black Parade” cements his role as a trailblazer within the rocktronic genre, bridging the worlds of emo and electronic in a way that’s both thrilling and fresh. As he continues to redefine what’s possible in dance music, fans can expect more bold releases that blur the lines between a variety of genres.
