Resonance Music & Arts Festival Lineup Preview

| September 18, 2017

Resonance Music & Arts Festival holds a special place in my heart because I have experienced this festival since it first began in 2014.  With a major focus on art as well as bringing you a diverse jam and electronic music lineup it has been a beautiful experience to watch Resonance grow in such a short amount of time.

I can't say enough good things about the experience and the people who put it on. The name itself gives you a little bit of insight in to the magic of this festival. The Law of Resonance is the Universal Law which determines what you will attract into your life based on the resonance or frequency of energy you are projecting. I believe that this law rings so true in our human existence.

At Resonance Music & Arts Festival you are sure to attract the people and vibrations that are meant to be in your life. Resonance is more than just a music festival, it is an immersive collective of love.

Check out our list of must see artists at Resonance Music & Arts Festival

Thursday:

Papadosio

Papadosio has been apart of Resonance since it started and this year they are playing more than ever. They are scheduled to play a total of 4 times through out the weekend, including a rare acoustic set on Saturday and a Nine Inch Nails Cover set on Thursday. Papadosio puts on a show that will take you on an electro-jam dance music exploration. Their visuals are mind expanding and their energy on stage moves within the crowd.

Wookiefoot

Wookiefoot is nothing short of a spiritual, musical experience. This band is full of high energy and fun. These Tribal Ambassadors have a mission to spread peace and love through collective consciousness. Their music represents the compassion and care for this earth and each other that all of us should live by.

Beats Antique

Beats Antique is truly a spectacle to see. Their shows display an array of artists including belly dancers and tribal influenced drummers. Their sound consists of Middle Eastern inspired belly dancing music, down-tempo electronic music, hip-hop, old school jazz and many more.

Kaleidoscope Jukebox

"You are about to embark on a very exciting adventure. A journey which along the way will bring to you new color, new dimension and a new experience." This is the perfect way to describe Kaleidoscope Jukebox's innovative electronic sound. Blending tribal dance elements, smooth jazz influences and serene vocals, K-Box's music will take you in to a new realm of dance and expression.

Peridoni

Peridoni is a funky, groovy jamtronic band that has a special place in Ohio's heart. Having just released their first album last year, Pixel Pieces on a Parallel Plane they've gained recognition through touring across the midwest. Their spacey grooves will elevate your mood and send you in to a cosmic dance.

Alejo

Alejo is the kind of bass music that you can't help but get down and flow to. With the perfect blend of wubs and bass, his sounds are best described as transcendent, glitch hop. His flowy beats mesh together to form a smooth, liquidy decoration of sound.

Friday:

STS9

Sound Tribe Sector 9  is a jamtronic band whose sound is based on instrumental rock and electronic music. STS9 is known for pushing musical boundaries. Their music will take you on a ride in to a different dimension. You will be flowing through time with their psychedelic melodies.

Ott.

Ott. has a sound that is influenced from classic Jamaican dub, fused with hypnotic electronic elements. Noted as the "Psy-dub Maestro" he is known for his unique producing style and collaborations with Simon Posford of Shpongle. His conscious expanding dub tracks are sure to get you moving.

The Main Squeeze

One of my friends said if you don't go see The Main Squeeze then you're an idiot. With Corey Frye on vocals he will surely capture your heart and attention with his phenomenal voice. As my friend puts it, during their show they will put you in a funk induced coma. So make sure you get Squeezed at Resonance.

Saturday:

Keller Williams

Keller Williams is a one man act, looping with multiple instruments while on stage creating a new kind of solo musical performance. He combines elements of bluegrass, folk, alternative rock, jazz, funk and many others. He will be playing two times on Saturday, including one solo performance and with some musical friends, including Kyle Hollingsworth from String Cheese as well as Dave Watts and Garret Sayers from The Motet.

Imagined Herbal Flows

The name Imagined Herbal Flows (IHF) speaks for itself. The downtempo electronic music artist has been breaking ground in the live music scene in just a few short years by making appearances at major music festivals like Coachella. His music consists of melodic, tranquil sounds with asian influence paired with hip-hop beats.

DIZGO

DIZGO is an up and coming band from Bloomington, Indiana that has been touring and making their mark at music festivals across the midwest. These guys definitely know how to groove. They are the perfect blend of jamtronica, space funk, deep-groove soul, and hip-hop. Their debut album, State of Constant Motion is now available on Spotify and other streaming services.
