Top 10 Favorite Totems of Electric Forest 2019

| July 07, 2019

Festival totems are a fun and creative way for festival attendees to represent their crew. They are useful for finding your friends in a massive crowd and to stand out amongst thousands of people.

Electric Forest has the most amazing art to get lost in and we appreciate when attendees immerse themselves with their own custom totems.

We at iEDM appreciate the hard work and effort that goes into these totems and like to share our favorites from events. We have seen many creative totems over the years and some have been repeated and revamped for years to come. Here are our top 10 picks for Electric Forest 2019!

10. Rave Pup

All pet owners wishes they could bring their furry best friend and at some point through out the weekend, you think "I miss my pet." We loved all the pet totems this year and this rave pup was our favorite because she was decked out with cute lashes and face gems.

9. "Our" Story

This 90s kids themed totem is based off a true classic: Toy Story! With the Andy signature in the corner and all our favorite characters, this "Our Story" totem was a hit.

8. Cat Dog

This Cat Dog totem was awesome because their crew could split up and join cat dog back together later. Plus it has 2 sides - the traditional side then the skeleton side. We loved this double totem idea!

7. Veggie Gang

This veggie gang came prepared with the punniest totems of the weekend - Let Us (lettuce), Turn Up (turnip), The Beat (beat).

6. Slinky Leg Frog

This adorable slinky legged frog was a fun totem that involved the whole squad. We found them walking from stage to stage together, making this friend finder the perfect way to keep your crew together when moving to the next stage!

5. UFO Totem

This UFO totem was a great friend finder for those lost in the crowd because it could be seen across any stage view. It lit up different colors and its holders would spin it causing the streamers to dance to the music and look like it was ready to abduct the dance floor!

4. Terrarium Totem

This terrarium totem was so detailed and cute. The clear outside protected it from the elements and inside fairy lights lit up a fairy tale scene with gnomes, a crystal ball and mushrooms. Check out the video HERE

3. Mini LED Screen

This totem was so entertaining to watch because it had so many different patterns that danced across the screen. It was so bright with awesome custom designs. I got lost in this mini visualizer for a while!

2. Mushroom Gnome Home

This multi-layered totem clearly took time and effort to create. The mushroom home even has a little chimney with lights. Open up the door and inside you find a gnome with his pet pig. But then you can even up it up more to see his full mushroom home set up, picture frames and all. We chose this as number one for its creativity and its vibe matches the Forest perfect.

1. Deep Light Labs

The Deep Lights Lab came out strong with multiple totems rocking this year. This totem has made our list before because its infinity LED mirrors are one of the trippiest things you have ever seen. Check out their Facebook HERE

Festival Favorite:

50 Years Of Partying Totem

We had to include this epic flower child totem - 50 years of partying! I hope I'm that cool when I'm older! I can only imagine the changes to have been seen in the festival world since '69!

Did we miss your totem? Tag us on Instagram and show us what you created. Shout out to everyone who took the time to make a totem for this incredible event. Your art adds to the experience and we appreciate it!
