10 European Artists To Add To Your Playlist
Whether you’re into groovy house beats, hardstyle, or enjoy getting stuck in a nice trance, Europe has a little something for everyone. Keep the party going with this carefully hand-selected list of European artists that should be added to your playlist.
These artists were picked based off of their popularity in Europe, the incredible and notable progress they have made throughout their musical careers, and a little bit of my own personal preference. Many of these artists have been awarded for their work on numerous occasions, and they continue to strive in the industry as a product of their own creations.
1. Armin van Buuren | Leiden, The Netherlands
With the number one spot for Best Radio Mix Show (A State Of Trance), and numerous acceptances of awards such as 'Best Global DJ' under his belt, Dutch DJ and producer Armin van Buuren is a must-have for your listening pleasure. ASOT streams a new episode every week on Spotify.

2. Shiba San | Paris, France
French DJ, Shiba San, likes to go back to his hip hop roots when he's playing his house beats. With a close association with Claude VonStroke's Dirty Bird Records, Shiba San is an act that gets draws attention from every corner.
3. Dash Berlin | The Hague, The Netherlands
Though Dash Berlin is Dutch, he has noticed that he is drawing in big fan bases from central and South America the most. Accompanying his huge stage presence are incredible progressive house and trance vibes to keep the party moving.
4. Alesso | Stockholm, Sweden
You can catch Swiss DJ and producer, Alesso, on main stage at just about any festival in Europe. When in search of a progressive/electro house set to bring you to your knees, Alesso is your guy.
5. Afrojack | The Netherlands
Afrojack began making music at the age of 5, and performing at the age of 14. However, when he dropped "In Your Face" in 2007, the whole game changed. Since then he has positioned himself comfortably in DJ Mag's top 20 with his headlining sets at major music festivals and his co-production work with big name artists like David Guetta.
6. Loco Dice | Düsseldorf, Germany
Having productions featured on major record labels like Cadenza and Cocoon, Loco Dice takes a direct approach at maintaining originality. There are deep seeded hip-hop roots poking their heads out into his sets, while also ensuring his beats are a perfect fit for any listener.
7. Rudimental | London, United Kingdom
This English drum and bass band consisting of four members grew prominence when their single "Feel The Love" came out in 2012. Since then there have been many remixes of the track that have helped Rudimental expand into the ears of new audiences. Check out their latest single "Sun Comes Up."
8. Sasha | London, United Kingdom
This man needs no introduction. Sasha is a Grammy Award nominee, four-time International Dance Music Award winner and four time DJ Mag award winner. Even after the separation from John Digweed, Sasha still hits the stage hard with his energetic electronica sets.
9. Troyboi | London, United Kingdom
Troyboi's genre is not to be defined. This up-and-comer straight out of South East London only produces Troyboi originals. Don't his low list placement fool you, with having collaborations with big names like Flosstradamus, this is one act to put at the top of your to-do's.

10. Brennan Heart | The Netherlands
After some experimentation with techno and trance, Brennen Heart finally found his passion in hard style music. Catch him on the Q Dance Stage at just about any music festival in Europe with a crowd fist pumping as far as the eye can see.
