10 Unforgettable Highlights From Electric Forest 2019

Electric Forest has come and gone all too quickly once again, leaving us with positive vibrations to take into our everyday lives. 

I saw someone post, what you give to the Forest - the Forest gives back ten fold. As a patron of this festival for many years, I couldn't agree more. This magical place has so much to offer for everyone, whether you are a bluegrass lover or a hardcore techno fan - there is something for everyone, plus it will expose you to something new. 

Every year, this festival proves to be the best with top tier talent across the spectrum and once in a lifetime sets from our favorite artists. Then of course, there are all the amazing art installations in the Forest that continue to get revamped every year with new features, new stages and new interactive art. 

Choosing just 10 highlights was a challenge, but here are my top picks that made this Electric Forest 2019 stand out. 

10. T-Pain's Throwback Set

You don't realize how many hit songs T-Pain has until he sings them. He meshed his tracks together appropriately for this mostly EDM crowd and sounded great on the mic. This midday set took us back to high school and was talked about all weekend long. 

9. The Goodlife Late Night Stage  

The Goodlife Stage featured an unannounced lineup with artists we love. If you were lucky enough to venture to this stage, you raged into the wee hours and maybe even got into some silent disco. We loved Ganja White Night and Since JulEYE who performed Saturday! 

8. Gardens Galore

One thing that always makes Electric Forest special is that it takes place in a gorgeous wooded setting. Inside there are so many art installations to get lost in, but my favorite this year were all garden themed. There was a coy fish pond that hydro fed the plants and several landscaped pieces of art featuring beautiful foliage.  

7. The Nth Power Presents Earth Wind & Power 

This straight out of the 80s Earth Wind & Fire set had everyone feeling those true disco vibes in the Carousel Club. Members from other bands like The Motet sat in performing classics like "Shining Star."

STS9 played all my favorite songs, plus brought out a special hip-hop guest, Armanni Reign, making it a truly unique Soundtribe experience!

5. The Honeycomb 

The Honeycomb stage was a new experience for this year's Forest goers featuring epic live beatboxing performances. Festival goers could sit, stand and hang in hammocks on this multi-tier area making it an awesome daytime chill spot with epic live entertainment.

It's been a few years since Odesza performed at Forest and this year, their headlining Thursday night set featured their drum line and lots of new tracks with the old giving us all the feels.

Bassheads have been begging for it on Reddit and social media for years, and the bass king himself finally has given us what we wanted! His entire set was phenomenal with hits we love and new stuff mixed in. 

2. String Cheese's Saturday Night Shebang

If you are attending any String Cheese festival, you must know that you should never ever miss a Saturday night Cheese set. This incredible production had massive floating light up balloons, aerialists, confetti blasting and fireworks in the background leaving everyone in awe. 

1. The Renegade RV Parties 

Electric Forest attendees have truly outdone themselves this year with production so epic that we aren't sure how they even made it happen. Some even had stage lineups prepared with secret sets from favorite artists like SNBRN, NGHTMRE + Slander, Dr. Fresch and more! 

Our 10 highlights are subjective to our experience and we hope your Forest experience has your own favorite moments that will live on forever.
