10 Must See Sets At EDC Las Vegas 2019

| May 06, 2019

We are 2 weeks out from being under the electric sky once again. EDC Las Vegas is on every EDM lover's festival bucket list. It's the ultimate production with an incredible lineup for everyone. Fans travel from across the world for this 3-day massive festival bringing everyone together on the dance floor.

Whether you are an EDC veteran or this is your first time, deciding which sets to attend is hard. With multiple stages all boasting the best in the game, it's inevitable that you can't catch it all.

Here are iEDM's top 10 must see sets at EDC LV 2019.

10. Adam Beyer Presents Drumcode

This anticipated set will go deep into techno with the Drumcode founder himself. We have our fingers crossed for some Drumcode specials guests for some b2b action. Whatever tricks Adam Beyer decides to pull out, it's guaranteed to be epic as he takes over the neonGARDEN.

9. Giuseppe Ottaviani Live 2.0

An evolution of his previous Live 1.0 set up, Giuseppe Ottaviani is bringing his latest show to EDC. Watch the video above for full info, but this live set up is not one to be missed from this world-renowned artist who doesn't come to the U.S. that often.

8. Kaskade

Kaskade is of course a classic, but this classic made our must see list because today he teased his brand new EP expected to drop on May 10. So yes please, give us all the brand new "Redux EP 003" tunes, mixed with the classics on the main stage, kineticFIELD.

7. Infected Mushroom

One of my personal favorite memories was making it to the front row at Infected Mushroom. We even ran into Paris Hilton who apparently loves the experimental psytrance duo too. Every time I have seen them live has blown me away, so this will always be a must see set on my list. They play at the quantumVALLEY stage on Saturday, May 18.

6. Ferry Corsten Presents System F

Ferry Corsten has several aliases he plays under, but System F is one of the originals. In a recent iEDM interview he said, "System F is an alias that is close to my heart as it was the artist name that gave me my breakthrough in dance music. System F and its music were instrumental to the birth of trance music as we know it today. It has also been an inspiration to many artists and DJs. I hope the set I have put together will reflect that power it had then and how it translates to now."

5. Chris Lake Presents Black Book

Last year, Chris Lake closed out the festival on the main stage doing an epic b2b with Fisher with a gorgeous sunrise as the background. This year, Chris Lake is back for 2 sets at EDC. His set on Saturday is called Chris Lake presents Black Book (Black Book is his label name) and then Sunday is just a usual Chris Lake set. We aren't sure what t expect, but we know this is a set not to be missed.

4. Get Real: Green Velvet & Claude VonStroke

They don't play Get Real sets often, but every once in a while, this power duo of Green Velvet and Claude VonStroke team up for an epic b2b at the kineticFIELD. If you are a house music lover, this is not a set to miss.

3. Mau5trap

Deadmau5 set is Friday and then Saturday is the highly anticipated Mau5trap set. We can assume the Mau5 himself will be there. Other Mau5trap stars on the EDC lineup include 13, Attlas, Rezz, i_o, and No Mana. Don't miss this mystery set and fingers crossed for a pop up unannounced act like BlackGummy.

2. Skream! b2b Rusko (Old Skool Dubstep Set)

Bass lovers, this throwback set will bring you all the feels from two of our favorite OGs pairing up. Get ready to head bang to a nostalgic set here to remind you that dubstep is in fact not dead at the bassPOD.

1. Zhu

May 16-17. More info TBD

A few days ago, Zhu posted an alien mandala art with his logo with the caption "May 16-17." He is on the EDC lineup for Saturday, May 18 at the cosmicMEADOW, so we are curiously anticipating something exciting. Zhu formerly had an unknown identity, but has blown up and it's well-deserved. Our fingers are crossed for a live performance, but regardless of whether he is looping live or DJing, his sets are the most fun to dance to.
