10 New EDM Tracks for May 2018

| May 05, 2018

It's already May and with only a few days away from Shaky Beats, Movement, SummerCamp and EDC Las Vegas, ravers across the world are getting ready for a weekend of a lifetime. And what better way to start off this month with some new tracks to help you cope with these long waiting days.

Featuring tracks from Claude VonStroke, Bingo Players, Will Clarke and more, iEDM chose our favorite tracks for you.

Check out new releases from new and familiar artists, take a breath into Kaskade, Phoebe Ryan & LoKii in their all-new collaboration, approach dance music with another side of Paper Diamond's new release "Big Real Big" and don't let your worries hold you down with Felix Cartal new release.

1. Almost Back - Kaskade x Phoebe Ryan x Lokii

With over 1 Million listens in only a few days "Almost Back" is out and whether or not you're looking for love or running away from it, Kaskade's latest with singer Phoebe Ryan and LoKii is the kind of bouncy, stunning love song that will have you singing along all summer long.

2. Walay (My Bae) - Claude VonStroke

Dirtybird's Claude VonStroke has been hard at work these past few months. The title song leads with a melodic riff and a funky vocal that sounds like a defective cyborg that is proclaiming love for his partner "Walay." The sound of this song harkens back to old classic rave tracks but yet this one is a modern love song.

3. Bass Real Big - Paper Diamond ft. Ms. Williams

This track shows off another side of Paper Diamond's inimitable approach to dance music, more than living up to its title with a double-barreled speaker workout that's strikingly and wildly confident.

4. Everybody - Bingo Players

Dutch producer Maarten unleashes his very own remix of "Everybody" a re-imagined filter house anthem that will be heard at clubs and festivals all summer long. This remix is out now on Hysteria/Spinnin Records and is the first and only official remix to "Everybody."

5. Take A Seat - Will Clarke

This track has been kept tight in Dirtybird's back pocket for a while now, waiting for the perfect moment to release it on the world. Will's prowess in the studio is shown in his strength with simplicity. "Take A Seat" brings an implacable beat and ferocious rhythms meld with an almost effortless, yet lasting vocal chanting "freak on my feet, people take seat" between tinges of evolving acid lines and heavy influences of Techno and UK Garage.

6. Worry - Felix Cartal ft. Victoria Zaro

Felix Cartal newest single is out now, "Worry" where he teamed up with a singer/songwriter Victoria Zaro who became a YouTube sensation when her cover of Lorde's "Royals" went viral. You can now stream Felix Cartal's new album "Next Season" where most of lyrics were written by himself.

 7. Off To Funk - Shiba San

After numerous critically acclaimed releases in 2017, DJ and producer Shiba San returns in style, with the Off To Punk EP.  "I am very excited to put out the first EP in 2018. These tracks have been a big part of my live performances, so I'm happy to finally share with the world. It's always an honor to release with the legend Green Velvet."

8. Tambores - Andrew Rayel

"Tambores" is like catnip to trance music-lovers of all ages, this wildly appealing as it is the refreshingly uncommon song is out now. We all know Trance music fans are a very demanding audience, and with that in mind, Rayel releases this powerhouse track just in time for festival season.

9. Pray - SAM SMITH (MK Remix)

MK is back with a remix for Sam Smith's "Pray" and this song will revamp the dance floors by adding that dose of magic soul that only MK himself can provide. Make sure to catch him at EDC Vegas this month.

10. Devil In Disguise - Marc Benjamin & JBP

Nicky Romero's label keeps expanding their own and music genres' boundaries. label's newest and unusual single "Devil in Disguise," is out now and people are not expecting this kind of sound from this label and this is what makes this song interesting, so give it a listen and be the judge.
