10 Shows To See At Red Rocks In 2022

Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre is one of the most iconic venues in the United States. A headline show at Red Rocks is a monumental achievement for many artists, which is why so many DJs take the opportunity to make their Red Rocks show extra special. Over the years, Red Rocks has hosted historic headline performances by artists like Skrillex, Illenium, Alison Wonderland, REZZ, Zeds Dead, and Big Gigantic. Red Rocks' 2022 season rivals years past with exciting takeovers by Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Seven Lions, Lane 8,  and more.

Big Gigantic

Rowdytown is celebrating its 10th anniversary in style. Big Gigantic's annual Red Rocks takeover will return for two days this fall. From September 23-24, Big Gigantic will be joined by two separate multi-genre lineups for Rowdytown X. Set to perform are English bass-house legend Joyryde, Ophelia Records mainstay MiTiS, rising Chicago-based producer INZO, charasmatic bass act Jantsen, Russian indie-house instrumentalist Biicla, and brother duo mzg.

CloZee

CloZee is making her headline debut at Red Rocks this year. Though she previously co-headlined Red Rocks with OPIOU last year, 2022 will mark his first solo headline performance. On October 8, CloZee will be joined by anonymous bass producer Deathpact, New York-based duo MEMBA, experimental electronic artist Kilamanzego, and underground hip-hop producer Habitaat.

Flume

Flume is bringing his 2022 headline tour to Red Rocks for a two-night takeover. Each night will include its own dedicated lineup, with September 5 featuring performances by TSHA, Prospa, and oklou, and September 6 hosting  Eprom, Shlohmo, and oklou. The performance will center around Flume's upcoming third album Palaces, due out May 20, 2022.

Gryffin

Gryffin is taking Red Rocks by storm this fall. On October 21, Gryffin will make his grand return to the iconic Morrison, Colorado venue for a headline performance. The LA-based dance-pop producer and guitarist will be joined by UK house DJ Joel Corry, indie-pop hit-maker Surf Mesa, and rising female producer Dot.

Lane 8

Lane 8 is bringing the Reviver tour to Red Rocks this fall. Celebrating his latest album Reviver, Lane 8 will be joined by Le Youth, Massane, and EMBRZ on September 8, 2022. Fans will enjoy the serene sounds of Lane 8's label imprint This Never Happened.

Louis The Child

Louis The Child are bringing their Playground set to Red Rocks from October 13-14. For this year's two-night takeover, Louis The Child have curated a lineup featuring alt-indie band Neil Frances, Australian dance group Crooked Colours, Swedish indie-electronic producer Kasbo, and rising birtbird DJ Rome In Silver. Get ready to enjoy filled with playful future bass bangers.

REZZ

The fourth edition of REZZ ROCKS will return on for two nights this October. After the initial Friday, October 28 show quickly sold-out, Red Rocks added a second show. The additional show on Thursday, October 27 will feature a special 'Nightmare On REZZ Street' set. REZZ ROCKS IV will arrive just in time to celebrate Halloweekend.

Rüfüs Du Sol

Rüfüs Du Sol are returning to Red Rocks for a two-night stint this fall. As part of their upcoming Surrender tour, the Grammy-winning trio will takeover the Denver amphitheatre from October 15-16, 2022. Supported by WhoMadeWho, Paraleven, and Bora Uzer, the night will feature the charasmatic sounds of Rüfüs Du Sol's 2021 album Surrender.

Seven Lions

On Thursday, June 23, Seven Lions will bring the Ophelia Records family to Red Rocks. Along with a headline performance by Seven Lions, Higher Love will feature a supporting set by Jason Ross and more to be announced. This will be the second iteration of Seven Lions' Higher Love series.

Zeds Dead

For the eighth year in a row, Zeds Dead and the Deadbeats family will return to Red Rocks for a two-day takeover. From July 2-3, DeadRocks VIII will host a headline set by Zeds Dead, along with special sets by the Deadbeats crew. Zeds Dead will follow up their DeadRocks takeover with the second annual 4th Of July Backyard Jamboree at the City Center Park in Denver.
