Bassnectar To Headline Elements Music And Art Festival

| August 01, 2018

Elements is returning to New York City on August 11, and EDM heavyweight Bassnectar is headlining the festival this year.

The unique music festival will take place at Hunts Point in the Bronx, and feature a variety of names including Emancipator, Goldfish, SNBRN, Desert Dwellers, Snakehips, and Justin Jay. EDM fans can expect house, funk, and dubstep to be represented at the event.

The festival is known to showcase the performers in their true forms. There will be five different stages where fans can gather around and proudly display their latest rave outfits. Bassnectar will be closing out the Earth Stage, while acts like the Dirtybird Players will heat things up at the Fire Stage.

Beyond the music, there will be activities that will keep festival-goers busy throughout the day. Photographer Jarid Blue will open eyes as he uses human bodies to project digital imagery. You won't look at yourself the same way again. That's not all. Get prepared for a trippy experience as Justin Wood combines projections with fog and mirrors. Whoah dude.

If you are looking to get down with your bad self at a peep show, Elements also has you covered. Keep your eyes open for 'Pipe Dreams,' a sexy, dark tease that will be hidden inside of an underground chamber. Take long, deep breathes because it's going to get hot and heavy. Quickly.

What are you waiting for? Start getting your festival outfit together because Bassnectar and his friends are going to make you break out a serious sweat next Saturday. You have been warned in advance.
