Climax Launches First-Ever DJ Top 100 Chart Utilizing 100% Real Data

With tens of thousands of DJs across the world, it is extremely difficult to know which artists are leading the EDM scene. New genres and sounds in electronic music are constantly emerging, which leads to new rising DJs and producers.

When judging who is at the top, we often look on social media or Spotify but rarely merge multiple categories to make a proper analysis. Thankfully, Climax, the first-ever DJ Top 100 Global chart, has done this heavy lifting for us.

Climax has redefined the top DJs list by forging an algorithm that relies on an assortment of significant data to rank these spin masters. Debuting its algorithm, Climax compiled analysis for the entire calendar year of 2022, and showcased the launch of their formula during Miami Music Week in March.

At the Okami, Miami, the brand had a memorable presentation, awards ceremony, and after-party, encompassing performances from Ayko, Leandro Da Silva, and Top 100 DJ Majestic.

Also making the list is Latin house guru HUGEL, who was in attendance at Climax's MMW event. Speaking on the algorithm, HUGEL said, “as a DJ, it's important for me to know that my rankings are based on objective and real data. It's great to see how the Climax technology is able to provide such an accurate reflection of the global music scene. Being part of the Climax Top 100 global chart is truly an honor for me.”

Diving deeper into the algorithm itself, Climax's program features 15 different parameters extracted across 11 platforms, such as Spotify, SoundCloud, Instagram, 1001 Tracklist, and more. It has a designated weight for each factor so there is a sense of balance when calculating the Top 100 list.

Now, there is really no way to question who is at the forefront of the global DJ community. Be on the lookout for Climax as it continues to shape the future of the music industry through its progressive technology and inventive endeavors.
