EDC Orlando 2021 Celebrates 25 Years!

| October 14, 2021

As of this moment in time Insomniac is moving forward with EDC Orlando 2021! It is refreshing to hear EDC is going forward considering the fate of many festivals due to several unforeseen current events. In the festival’s tenure it has showcased in major cities outside the U.S. as well as changing locations here a few times. For now, Las Vegas and Orlando have emerged as the current United States locations. Insomniac brings an exotic carnival to Tinker Field in downtown Orlando for three nights of entertainment. With the festival celebrating a milestone 25th year Insomniac is sure to put on another amazing production filled with pyrotechnics, lasers, world renowned performances, and more!

Yes, EDC is really a carnival. It has similar aspects like lights, rides, mind-blowing performances, and thousands of people having the time of their lives. You might even find some cool carnies. EDC Orlando will have five unique stages this year: kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN, stereoBLOOM, and Wide Awake Art Cart. Some stages are equipped with Funktion One sound system, fire, lasers, lights and more. Fingers crossed Insomniac has fireworks to celebrate this year! Each stage will have its own curated lineup to express the genres present at EDC.

Each day is setup with stacked lineups of individuals and b2b performances from newcomers alongside some of the top performing EDM artists. Here are a few of the daily artist highlights! Friday: ATLiens, Kaskade, Liquid Stranger, NGHTMRE B2B SVDDEN DEATH, and Zedd. Saturday: Cosmic Gate, Elephante, Excision, Galantis, Green Velvet presents La La Land, Loud Luxury, Paul Van Dyk, Subtronics, Tchami (Sunset), and Tiësto. Sunday: AC Slater, Alan Walker, Cat Dealers B2B Dubdogz, Ekali, Kygo (Sunset), Louis The Child, Lucii, Seven Lions, and Whipped Cream.

If the music is not enough to stimulate your mind feel free to take a spin on the Ferris wheel or one of the thrill-seeking carnival rides. The festival grounds are like walking thru a museum with the amount of mesmerizing interactive art installations and still art. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled throughout the weekend for the EDC Funkdafied Freaks! These are the dazzling performers providing extra entertainment to the scene.

Although I have never been to any EDC, the live streams, pictures, and stories are enough to entice ravers who have any interest in going. As EDC says, it would not be a festival without the most important people, you the Headliners! There is still enough time and availability to secure tickets and travel logistics if you act fast. If you can make it happen, EDC Orlando 2021 is a celebration you will not want to miss!
