7 Reasons To Get Your Elements 2024 Tickets

| April 12, 2024

Iridescent dragons floating through the air, acrobats swinging from trees, friendly stilt walkers in wild masks greeting you as you leave the forested area and approach the main stage — the Elements Music and Arts Festival, a short drive from New York and Philadelphia, is full of exuberant surprises that imbue the weekend with a sense of wonder that stay with you long after the final act.

Now in its 10th edition, Elements is returning to the Woodlands Outside of Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA, for the weekend of August 9-12 with a stacked lineup featuring Chris Lake, Kaskade, ILLENIUM, Excision, Disco Lines, Dimension, Of The Trees, its murph, VNSSA B2B Nala, and dozens of other artists across house, techno, bass, drum n' bass, and many other genres.

With the future of New York's Electric Zoo uncertain after last year's many debacles, Elements is poised to prove itself as the premier Electronic Dance Music festival of the Northeast. Tier 2 and camping passes are on sale now.

As you map out your festival plans for this Spring and Summer, here are 7 reasons to invest in an unforgettable weekend at Elements.

1) The Music

Elements always delivers a world-class EDM lineup and this year is no exception. The headliners need no introduction, but I encourage you to dig into the undercard to find the hidden gems, the artists who will be playing in the afternoon and early evening slots, setting the tone, and building the energy for each day.

Wreckno is making dubstep unlike anyone in else in the scene right now, with playful rap flows bouncing over juicy, industrial beats. Zingara's multi-genre explorations into sound feel like space odysseys, while Azzecca throws down irresistible tech house sets that feel right at home in Chicago's underground scene or Burning Man.

2) The Campground Community

The campgrounds at Elements have a dash of Electric Forest, as long-time attendees go all-out with their set-ups and renegade sets keep the party going all hours. Totems throughout the grounds carry creative banners that function as sign posts guiding you to your friends each day, canopies act as DIY art shows with bursts of colors and creative designs, and friendly neighbors are willing to hatch plans, share a cool beverage, and hand out homemade gifts.

3) The Art Installations

You could spend an entire day and night touring the many installations scattered throughout Elements. There are murals, sculptures, fabric designs, rooms with dedicated exhibits, countless little decorations pinned up in the trees and organized along paths.

At night, the art takes another dimension as colorful lights alter the perception and performers brighten the world with flames and illuminated outfits.

4) The Performers

Dozens of performers roam Elements dancing, elevating the mood, and hypnotizing attendees with otherworldly characters and stunning acts of athleticism. Performers command attention on the various stages, generate countless photo opportunities and impromptu creative displays, and transform the festival grounds into a magical place.

5) The Stages

Compared to other festivals, Elements doesn't take that long to traverse. There are four main stages that and spread far enough apart to limit sound bleed, but close enough that you can start at one set and still manage to catch an overlapping set at the other side of the venue.

Each of the stages is visually stunning and carry a consistent theme and color palette, whether it's the lush blues of water or the grounding hues of earth, the dynamism of fire or the levity of air.

The background graphics, lasers, flames, and other visual accoutrements accompanying each stage create an immersive experience and the sound systems rival other major festivals throughout the US, delivering crisp sound and thundering bass.

6) The Wellness Activities

Yoga in the mornings, aromatherapy in the afternoon, and sound baths to start the evening. There's no shortage of wellness activities at Elements for those who want to feel invigorated and well-rested.

The food and beverage vendors feature nutritious and vegan options and multidisciplinary workshops can guide you through meditations and intention-setting for a weekend that leaves you better off and ready to take on the rest of the year.

7) The Ease of Getting There

For ravers on the East coast looking for an alternative to Electric Zoo, getting to Elements is super easy, a relatively straight shot from New York, Philadelphia, and other major cities if you want to carpool with friends or rent a car, and even easier if you decide to buy a shuttle pass.

For out-of-staters, there are four nearby airports to fly into. While there is still plenty of time to plan your travel route for the weekend, getting it out of the way sooner is always the advised option.
