Elements Festival Delivers Fire Through The Rain

| August 16, 2018

A little rain never hurt anyone, especially for festival kids. Elements returned to New York City last weekend, and the festival powered on through the pouring rain.

Elements 2018 was an outing to remember. Bassnectar, the festival's headliner, threw down banger after banger, making ravers shake their tail feathers in the large mud puddles that dominated the Bronx. New Yorkers know how to get down and dirty, and didn't shy away from having a great time despite the harsh weather conditions.

This year, the festival expanded their horizons. Not only was the EDM world in the house, but legends from yesteryear made unforgettable appearances. This was highlighted by hip-hop great Kurtis Blow. Blow, known for hits such as "The Breaks" and "Basketball," delivered a lively performance that made electronic music fans take a break from their usual habits to celebrate the festival's versatility in music. Fans hopped on stage to join in on the action, creating an unexpected immersive experience for those who were fortunate enough to be in attendance.

The crowd held up their end of the bargain, too. Displaying a wide variety of amazing festival outfits, onlookers were in for a serious treat. Attendees were dressed to impressed, never backing down from showing off their beautiful spirits.

Just like in 2017, Elements created an environment that was warm and welcoming. Bring on 2019, 'cause New Yorkers (and those who travel to the big apple) know how to party hard.

Festival season isn't over yet! Make sure you look your festival best with our summer rave wear. Take a look at iEDM's Festival Collection HERE.
