EDM Festival Schedule 2026 and 2027: Dates

This EDM festival schedule covers fall and winter 2026 and the 2027 season, with more than 35 confirmed dates. The 2026 dates run from late September through Halloween weekend and New Year's Eve. The 2027 calendar already has dates from January to June, and EDC Las Vegas runs over two weekends.

Every date here comes from the festival's own site or its official ticket page, checked in September 2026. Festivals that have not announced 2027 yet go on a watch list further down, because we would rather wait than guess a date.

Some festivals are not coming back in 2027. What you pack also changes a lot, from Halloween in the woods to May in the desert.

Fall and Winter 2026 Festival Dates

The fall run starts with Breakaway Carolina on September 25. It builds to Halloween weekend, a quieter November and six New Year's Eve events.

Halloween Weekend Is the Busiest of the Year

Six festivals land on October 30 and 31, so for most people the choice comes down to which one is closest. Escape Halloween, Freaky Deaky, both BOO editions and Factory 93 all run those two nights. Dooms Night in Vancouver is on Halloween night only.

Hulaween and Get Freaky go first, on the weekend before, and Hulaween is the only four-day camping festival in the group. Our Halloween EDM festivals guide covers each one with its lineup and costume notes.

November Is Quieter and Warmer

EDC Orlando opens the month on November 6 to 8 at Tinker Field, with five stages and more than 100 artists. David Guetta, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Hardwell and Mau P lead that bill.

Three events then stack up on the weekend of November 13. Seismic Dance Event returns to The Concourse Project in Austin for three days of house and techno.

DUSK takes over Jacome Plaza in Tucson, and Breakaway lands in Houston.

Ember Shores runs November 20 to 22 in Riviera Maya, Mexico, with Illenium. Give Thanks closes the month at the San Jose Convention Center over Thanksgiving week.

New Year's Eve Splits Six Ways

Six large events share December 30 and 31, so book early if you want a specific one. Decadence runs two festivals on the same nights, Denver indoors and Phoenix at a raceway. HiJinx and Lights All Night cover Philadelphia and Dallas.

EDC Las Vegas Becomes Two Weekends

The headline change for 2027 is EDC Las Vegas running twice. Dusk takes May 14 to 16 and Dawn takes May 21 to 23, both at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. A combined pass covers both weekends.

Two weekends means two chances at a ticket. Camp EDC passes are already on sale, so decide early if you are camping or booking a hotel on the Strip.

Beyond Wonderland Now Runs Three Editions

Beyond Wonderland has confirmed all three 2027 dates at once: San Bernardino in March, Chicago in June, and the Gorge two weeks later. The Gorge edition is the one with camping, and it sells out first.

Movement also has 2027 tickets on sale, with three days at Hart Plaza over Memorial Day weekend. Between Movement and the second EDC weekend, late May is the busiest stretch of next spring.

Which Festivals Are Not Coming Back?

The Bonnaroo organizers say they are taking 2027 off so the farm can recover from storm damage. It is the biggest name missing from the 2027 calendar. Moonrise has also not run since 2024, and Buku remains on the hiatus it announced in 2022.

A few New Year's events have also gone quiet. Together As One and Forever Midnight both still show December 31, 2024 as their latest edition.

If you are searching for Radiance NYE, be careful. Its old web address now redirects to an unrelated site, so ignore any old ticket link you find for it.

Coachella has closed its advance sale and opened a waitlist without naming dates, which is normal for them. ARC and North Coast have both confirmed they are returning.

2026 Festival Lineup Cards

Ultra Music Festival

The 2026 edition ran March 27 to 29 at Bayfront Park in Miami. Ultra returns March 26 to 28, 2027.

Coachella

The 2026 edition ran April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19 in Indio, California. Coachella is on the 2027 watch list above.

Forbidden Kingdom

The 2026 edition ran April 25 and 26 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando. It returns April 23 to 25, 2027.

EDC Las Vegas

The 2026 edition ran May 15 to 17 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In 2027 it runs two weekends, May 14 to 16 and May 21 to 23.

Movement

The 2026 edition marked 20 years of Movement, May 23 to 25 at Hart Plaza in Detroit. It returns May 29 to 31, 2027.

Electric Forest

The 2026 edition ran June 25 to 28 in Rothbury, Michigan. Electric Forest is on the 2027 watch list above.

Shambhala

The 2026 edition, the festival's 27th, ran July 24 to 27 in Salmo, British Columbia.

Veld Music Festival

HARD Summer

The 2026 edition ran August 1 and 2 at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles. HARD Summer is on the 2027 watch list above.

What to Pack, Season by Season

Fall and Halloween

Late October splits between warm afternoons and cold nights, especially at camping festivals in the woods. A hoodie or joggers over your costume covers the walk back to camp, and a bandana keeps festival dust out of your face.

Winter and New Year's

Denver, Philadelphia and Dallas run their December events indoors, so dress for the dance floor and add one outer layer for the line outside. Our winter rave outfits guide has the full cold-weather kit.

Spring and Desert Heat

By March and May you are back to sun, dust and long walks between stages. Breathable matching sets beat anything heavy, and desert nights at EDC still get cold enough that you will want a layer in your bag. If it is your first festival, start with what to wear to a rave.
