Insomniac Is Changing The Festival Game With Medieval-Themed Festival Middlelands
There is a new festival coming to town this year, and it is changing the game. Middlelands is a medieval-themed festival thrown by Insomniac making it possible for us to finally enter into the fantasy land of our favorite shows Game of Thrones or Westworld.
We will finally get a chance to experience what it would be like to enter another world with castles, creatures, knights and dragons.
I’ve previously stated that camping festivals are the best experience you’ll ever have. What better way to completely escape the real world than to stay in another world for a few days. Now you’ll get the opportunity enter this entirely different realm of reality and get to stay there for 4 days.
For a brand new festival, you probably wouldn’t expect the lineup to be as top notch compared to veteran festivals, but if that was your thought than I am here to inform you that you are mistaken.
However, with a name like Insomniac behind it, it’s no wonder the lineup is the very definition of “lit.” With major headlining acts ranging from Major Lazer to Marshmello to the insane headbanging vibes of Snails and Delta Heavy. You’ll get some Big Gigantic and Griz and get to experience the ratchet with 12th Planet and Bro Safari. Then be in bass heaven with Bassnectar, Getter, Galantis, oh my.
While I like to consider I have a way with words, I find myself completely speechless and not functioning the more I look at this lineup. Trying to find suitable words is proving to be a very daunting task. This is one lineup you’ll have to see to believe because it is quite unbelievable.
Insomniac has perfected a carnival-themed rave with EDC, and now we are excited to see what Middlelands brings. Here is Pasquale Rotella (Insomniac CEO/founder) teasing the grounds on his Instagram:
Even better news is that it’s not nearly as expensive as most others. If you’re looking for an affordable and awesome experience, look no further. Someone pass me a turkey leg, a cold pint, and a ticket to this festival immediately, please.
