Two of the most influential names in electronic music, Monstercat and Hospital Records, have joined forces to deliver a highly anticipated drum & bass compilation. The project brings together a diverse lineup of artists from both labels, showcasing fresh collaborations and a modern take on the genre.

This eight-track release is the result of a four-day writing camp held at TYX Studios in London, where 23 artists came together to create a collection of standout productions.

The compilation aims to push the boundaries of drum & bass while celebrating its global appeal. Each track presents a unique interpretation of the genre, ranging from high-energy anthems to deep, emotionally driven soundscapes.

According to a statement from Monstercat and Hospital Records, “These collaborations between artists from both labels, A&R’d by both teams, offer a truly international sound and new perspective of drum & bass. The compilation showcases the diversity and innovation within the drum & bass scene while highlighting the strong bond between Monstercat and Hospital Records.”

The rollout of the compilation began with daily track releases leading up to the full drop. “What Are We Proving” by hayve & DRIIA set the tone with its powerful bassline and emotive storytelling.

Other highlights include “Find Peace” by DNMO & SOLAH, an elegant fusion of nostalgic melodies and modern production, and “IDGAF” by Anaïs & hayve, a hard-hitting track designed for underground dance floors.

“Starchild” by Bensley, BOP, and Degs brings a melodic and uplifting energy, while “99 Octane” by P Money, Whiney, and hayve serves as a grime-infused drum & bass anthem.

Additional tracks such as “Twerp” by Waeys, Bensley, and Hoax and “Renegade” by Protostar, Subten, and PVC add to the compilation’s versatility.

Monstercat, founded in 2011, has established itself as a leading independent label with a strong presence in gaming, festival stages, and digital media.

This imprint has worked with artists such as Marshmello, Kaskade, and Virtual Riot, while also collaborating with major gaming brands like Fortnite and Rocket League.

Meanwhile, Hospital Records has been a cornerstone of the drum & bass scene since its inception in 1996, representing artists like Metrik, P Money x Whiney, and Fred V.

The label has also cultivated a strong events presence through its Hospitality brand, bringing its signature sound to audiences worldwide.

By bridging the creative worlds of Monstercat and Hospital Records, this collaboration marks a significant moment for drum & bass. The compilation not only highlights the genre’s continued evolution but also reinforces its influence on the global electronic music landscape.
