Miami Music Week 2019 Event Guide: 10 Must-Attend Parties

For Miami Music Week goers, it’s almost that time of the year again. Miami Music Week is one of the worlds most recognized electronic music events and it’s back for its 9th-year appearance, so grab your swimwear and get ready for sunshine and dancing. 

This weeklong marathon runs this March 26th - April 1st with event after event featuring almost every major artist in the electronic music scene.

Energized by their passion for music, the people in Miami don’t sleep, or so it seems. Imagine having 1800+ artists performing at 260+ events hosted at 80+ venues which brings thousands of electronic music lovers to gather for a week full of festivities. Miami’s club scene lies in the tucked away venues where the vibration of the sound will give you a one of a kind experience.

Prestige venues such as Club Space, Heart, The Surfcomber, amongst a wide variety of nightclubs, National hotel parties, and warehouse parties welcome you to enjoy a week full of events in their own unique style.

Things can get overwhelming with the number of events going on, and choosing the best parties can be hard. Here is a list of Miami Music Week must-attend events.    

 

1.  Above & Beyond Miami

One of this year's biggest stories in dance music  2018 was Seven Lions. Following his standout performance at 2018's Common Ground Miami tour stop and with a remix of Above & Beyond's 'Common Ground' album cut. Above & Beyond are very pleased to have Ophelia Records label head return with them to the inimitable RC Cola Plant. 2. Elrow Miami - The Enchanted Forest

Taking its name from a unique Botanical Garden in Europe, El Bowsque Encantado is a magical place where you can lose yourself in winding paths and enjoy the beauty of more than three hundred living sculptures. Expect a world of wild creatures, trippy flora and fauna, impish forest spirits, and mesmerizing neon colors, all set to a world-class soundtrack from elrow favorites. Deep house shaman Claptone brings his eclectic and soulful sounds, tech house titans Detlef Latmun, and Nathan Barato all go back to back, plus Paradise Ibaza resident Patrick Topping and Cocoon's secret techno weapon wAFF goes b2b with De La Swing, among other acts. 3. Confession

Even though line up hasn't been released yet "CONFESSION" is one of the most anticipated events of Miami Music Week. This might be a stop of the Tchami & Malaa 2019 tour and is also the official Miami Music Week closing party for Tchami's label venture, Confession. 4. FISHER

Dance music's most colorful character, FISHER, will be "Losing It" at the Delao Beach Club on March 27th. This is the Australian star's only play at MMW. He'll be bringing his Catch & Release pool party to the people of Florida. Joined by an array of special guests, including Mason Maynard, Mele and more. 5. RVDIOVCTIVE MIAMI

6. DIRTYBIRD Players

Once again Club Space welcomes your favorite players of the game featuring 14 acts in 2 rooms, plus a techno loft that goes until 8am. 7.  Anjunadeep Open Air Miami

8.  Chus & Ceballos

9.  Markus Schulz Open to Close

10. Do Not Sit By The Pool

Start the party early on Tuesday, March 26th. The open-air event sees Behrouz and friends show off their sunny sides for the hometown crowd, bringing the underground movement's sophisticated environment and patented warmth outdoors. Get tickets HERE.

Corona Electric Beach: Gorgon City

Corona Electric Beach will be taking over Shore Club on Friday 3/29 with Gorgon City, Born Dirty, and more. This Road To EDC party is a must attend. RSVP HERE and join one of the most in-demand acts in the industry as Gorgon City makes a great stop during MMW.
