We are back with the third edition of this special monthly feature, where we put a spotlight on the top 5 events to catch at The Brooklyn Mirage. If you are just joining us for the first time or are unfamiliar with this illustrious venue, here is a brief recap:

Part of New York City's esteemed Avant Gardner mega-complex, The Brooklyn Mirage is accompanied by The Great Hall and Kings Hall. While each space can host individual events, combined they make Avant Gardner the second-largest entertainment venue in Brooklyn at 80,000 square feet. This complex is so massive that it even has its own food court!

The Brooklyn Mirage, Avant GardnerActing as Avant Gardner's main attraction, The Brooklyn Mirage has hosted hundreds of the world's greatest artists, many of them based in electronic music. Its unrivaled arsenal of lasers, state-of-the-art sound systems, and an epic 200-foot wide, 30-foot high video wall, has led to being named North America's Best Large Club by DJ Mag in 2022 (which is nearly guaranteed to be repeated).

With a significant portion of next month's shows already sold out (excluded from our list), it is crucial to grab tickets for the most anticipated events and lineups that are available while you still can.

Electric Zoo: Hyperspace Afterparties — Friday, September 1st to Sunday, September 3rd

Electric Zoo: Hyperspace, Megafox, Brooklyn MirageWith Electric Zoo: Hyperspace coming to New York City's Randall Island Park, there is a wide variety of stacked afterparties spread across Labor Day weekend. For melodic techno and house fans, Saturday night at the Mirage reigns supreme. 

Cityfox is a renowned underground music event series that transforms urban spaces into immersive, cutting-edge electronic music gatherings. With its innovative blend of art installations and world-class DJs, CityFox offers an unforgettable nightlife experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional clubbing. They have joined with Gray Area, one of the top outlets for house music, to present an immersive Avant Gardner takeover of the Mirage, Kings Hall, and even a rare stage at The Village.   

Melodic techno duo CamelPhat is sure to leave the crowd speechless with their headlining rooftop set. Additionally, groovy house imprint and event brand Desert Hearts, led by Lee Reynolds, will be running things over at Kings Hall. 

The Avant Gardner will also host the likes of GRiZ, FISHER, Tiësto, Liquid Stranger (WAKAAN takeover), and many more EDM-based superstars during the opening weekend of September. Check out their show calendar to pick out the own that best fits your musical tastes.

Adriatique Present X — Saturday, September 16th 

Adriatique, Yotto, Brooklyn Mirage

A joint project between trailblazers Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, Adriatique has spent over a decade evolving into one of the most alluring acts in the house and techno circuits. Sparked from the idea that “X marks the spot where two paths cross”, their latest event concept X has been taking the live entertainment world by storm.

Adriatique has recently been showcasing X at the most prestigious and enchanting venues on Earth. Their X takeovers often include support for other iconic artists, such as Innellea, Ae:ther, Patrice Bäumel, and more. Support for this reality-bending Mirage show consists of Woo York, Yotto, and Julya Karma. You can bet on it being an unreal experience.

ZHU: THE GRACE TOUR —
Thursday, September 21st And Saturday, September 23rd

ZHU, Channel Tres, Brooklyn Mirage

ZHU, the renowned Grammy-nominated artist, is set to embark on his eagerly awaited North American headline tour, The Grace Tour, in collaboration with Live Nation. Commencing in Toronto on September 14, the tour will span several prominent cities such as Brooklyn, Chicago, and San Francisco before concluding with two electrifying nights at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. This marks ZHU's first solo headline tour since his Dune Tour in 2018.

What started as one night at the Mirage, quickly turned into a three-show venture due to the extremely high demand for this gifted musical visionary. Friday's performance has already sold out, but Thursday and Saturday are still on the table. It is highly recommended to get your tickets ASAP before they become unavailable.

ZHU, known for his enigmatic persona and innovative sound, has become a beloved figure across electronic music. His blend of deep house, dance-pop, and elements of funk and soul has garnered widespread acclaim. He has produced a wide array of hits over the span of his career, from “Faded” to “Risky Business.” 

Joining ZHU at the Mirage will be the prodigal Channel Tres, who boasts a one-of-a-kind fusion of Detroit techno, Chicago house, and West Coast rap. This rising phenom has gained praise from Elton John, Tyler The Creator, and Jungle, to name a few, being labeled by many as the “modern-day James Brown”.

Ophelia Records Showcase – Seven Lions: Full Moon Party 
— 
Saturday, September 23rd (at The Great Hall) 

Seven LionsAlthough it is not exactly at the Mirage, Ophelia Records and its labelboss Seven Lions' takeover of the Avant Gardner's Great Hall is 100% mention-worthy. This is guaranteed to be an amazing show for anyone who misses out on snagging ZHU tickets or simply prefers melodic bass music. 

Lost Lands, which takes place on the same weekend, might be a tough trip for most of the demographic located in the Northeastern US. This takeover presents a prime alternative and Seven Lions plans to bring along a couple of infectious special guests. Back at the end of March, Seven Lions dropped the remix compilation to his mesmerizing LP, Beyond The Veil. Like both masterpieces, his headlining set at the Great Hall will take the audience on a mind-bending sonic adventure.

Purple Disco Machine — Sunday, September 24th 

Purple Disco Machine, Brooklyn MirageRacking up 100s of millions of streams and over 14 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, it comes as no surprise that Purple Disco Machine is currently embedded in the top 500 artists on the planet. This historic figurehead has pioneered the road for house and disco, melting the two together in a beautiful, funky recipe.

Growing up around the clubs in East Germany, PDM was bred to be king of his surrounding genre. In addition to his timeless classics, this legendary DJ-producer hybrid has releases high-profile mixes for Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Diplo, Fatboy Slim, and a bunch more. 

PDM will be playing a sunset set and nighttime set (tickets sold separately) on Sunday the 24th, equally magnetizing. Both of PDM's extended performances at the Mirage are destined to generate pure “Dopamine” within each attendee.
