Detroit's Movement Festival returns to Hart Plaza downtown this Memorial Day weekend with a stacked line up that will not disappoint techno lovers.

This exciting festival takes place in the birthplace of techno for a weekend where the underground comes out to play and free-spirited souls get down and groovy.

Movement is an annual electronic dance music event held in Detroit, Michigan each Memorial Day weekend and this year the festival celebrates 18 years of success. 40,000 die-hard fans will wander around the six stages with laser beams, smoke, and techno rhythms will make this an unforgettable weekend.

The headliners for the highly anticipated 2018 Movement Festival are one of a kind.

Saturday is lead by Dirtybird headmaster Claude Vonstroke, while Sunday features an unusual B2B set between Loco Dice and The Martinez brothers, both whom are known to play for of hours on end.

Monday takes a spin with headliner Wu-Tang Clan as the iconic rap group celebrates its 25th anniversary. The rest of the lineup includes techno powerhouse artists such as Seth Troxler, Justin Martin, Charlotte De Witte, Dubfire and so many more.

Even though this year lineup is a little more diverse than previous years, one thing for sure is that every techno lover will enjoy this event from beginning to end. Movement is an all-ages festival that attracts an older crowd and why leave your child at home when children 12 and under can enjoy free admission to the festival when accompanied by a parent.
