Okeechobee Music Festival 2017 Preview: A Tropical Experience With Legendary Artists

| February 20, 2017

It’s almost here! The second annual Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival is approaching quickly. This March 2nd-5th, the start of spring will be celebrated with world renowned artists and many on the rise performers, plus art installations to inspire with awe, yoga and meditation to cleanse the soul, great food, and new friends and old to enjoy it all with.

A Lineup Full of Legendary Artists

Okeechobee is blessing us with big names such as Bassnectar, Kings of Leon, Flume, The Lumineers, Wiz Khalifa, Pretty Lights, Griz, Snails, and many more.

Usher will be joining the stage with The Roots for a legendary experience. Porter Robinson will be putting on a live show that isn't to be missed.

This four-day camping festival comes from the same people who originally put on the legendary festival Bonnaroo. Similar to Bonnaroo, Okeechobee features a super jam performance where artists from many bands join the stage together for the Okeechobee Pow Wow!

This year's Pow Wow includes members from Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck, Griz, Michael McDonald, Galant, Eric Krasno and Antwaun Stanley.

Over 6 Unique Stages of Entertainment

Okeechobee features three main stages called Be, Here, and Now. There are also late night stages that go until wee hours.

From dusk till dawn, Jungle51 will hold a cosmic rebirth featuring futuristic techno beats, and an alien takeover creeping upon the outer edges of a cityscape, with a laser show that will transport festival goers to another dimension, far beyond the human reality. It’s the perfect place to get extraterrestrial with your friends.

Want some island vibes? Aquachobee is the place for a daytime swim and music chill zone. Get there early for breakfast, and don’t forget to bring your beach towel.

More Than Just Music

You can find the path to healing, self-discovery, connection and unconditional presence by strolling through ChobeeWobee Village. Yogachobee, The Healing Sanctuary, and the new Earth Arts Academy, are there to help tap into your unlimited potential.

So pack your bags, bring your best festy gear, and don’t forget your flowtoys. See ya there!
