REZZ Brings Peace and Love to Earth Via Mass Manipulation

Isabelle Rezzazadeh, better known as rising electronic superstar REZZ has been climbing to the top in more ways than expected. Whether it's one of her countless free downloads, her banger EP's, or her newly released comic book, REZZ is becoming a favorite for listeners (and readers) across the map.

Yes, comic book. REZZ tells us, "Luis Colindres and I created 'Mass Manipulation' as a 60-page comic book to help tell the story of my album (Mass Manipulation). It shows REZZ arriving from Neptune to mass manipulate and hypnotize planet earth. Accompanying the comic book is an animated music video for 'Premonition,' which features images and highlights from the comic book."

After getting fired from a job or two in Canada for skipping work to attend festivals, she realized that the 9-5 life wasn't for her. Then, one night after attending a Deadmau5 show, Rezzazadeh decided to switch her career path completely to music.

She was later discovered by Skrillex, who then signed her and released REZZ's 3-track Insurrection EP on OWSLA. That same year she was featured in Mau5trap's WeAreFriends Vol. 4 compilation album. To this day some of Rezzazadeh's musical influences still include Deadmau5, Gesaffelstein, Alesia, Amon Tobin, Eskmo, Bassnectar, and Pretty Lights.

Now you can catch a REZZ performance in just about any major city. I had the privilege of receiving an invitation to come check out her sold out 2-night run in Denver, Colorado during her Mass Manipulation Tour.

Having sold-out in advance, the place was packed with party people in their rave gear. After finding a good spot in the center of the dance floor, and incredible performances by BlackGummy and Dr. Fresch, REZZ took the stage. With her hypnotizing production and body moving beats, REZZ and her manipulated masses danced the night away in unison.
