Summer Camp Music Festival Is Counting Down For Its Biggest Year Yet

| May 01, 2018

As much as we all love festival season, it's no secret that many lineups can get redundant with the same artists constantly making appearances.

Thankfully we can always count on Summer Camp Music Festival to break the mold with lineups packed with diversity and authenticity.

The Lineup Is Gawk-Worthy In Every Genre

Legends such as Slightly Stoopid, Diplo, STS9, Tipper, and Cypress Hill will be gracing the grounds making it the festival’s most massive year yet.

Staying true to tradition, we will yet again be blessed with jam band favorites 3 days of Moe. and Umphrey’s McGee, along 2 days of Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band.

On the EDM spectrum, there is OOKAY Live, Tipper, Opiuo, Liquid Stranger, TOKiMONSTA, Shlump, The Funk Hunters and more!

This is only scratching the surface of the greatness that will be present so check out the full lineup below!

Scamp Is One Of The Most Anticipated Midwest Events

Located at the sprawling grounds of Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe Illinois, the festival attracts over 20,000 music lovers every year. This is the only event at this caliber in the area truly making it a Midwest music and art haven.

Taking place during Memorial Day weekend, it is the perfect way to kick off your summer with a bang.

There will be 9 stages as well as late night shows every night. The Red Barn Stage will feature late night performances from the likes of Twiddle, Liquid Stranger and even a Nine Inch Nails All-Star Tribute!

Summer Camp's Make A Difference Initiative

Summer Camp’s Make A Difference initiative also encourages attendees go beyond the music with a series of sustainability oriented programs. The goal is to raise awareness about environmental and social issues along with instilling sustainable practices within the festival itself.

They do so by holding workshops, having composting and recycling areas throughout, and using biodiesel generators. The Soulshine Tent will also be a hub for daily environmental education, art and yoga workshops. There will also be performances taking place there as well so be sure to check out this one of a kind space while you are there!

Anyone who has been to this festival can attest to the undeniably pure energy that it possesses. Summer Camp’s growth expansion over the years has been well deserved yet the intimate feel that draws us all in is here to stay.

Three day passes are available HERE along with early arrival passes that grant you access one day early. If you would like to experience the magic yourself get your tickets as soon as possible!
