Swedish House Mafia Reunite For Legendary Performance At Ultra Miami
Swedish House Mafia reunited to close out Ultra Miami's 20th Anniversary for an nostalgic performance that had fans crying across the nation.
"I am Axwell. I am Sebastian Ingrosso. I am Steve Angelo. Miami, tonight we go by Swedish House Mafia."
They opened with their hit track "Miami 2 Ibiza" and fans went crazy. It has been 5 years since the trio, Steve Angello, Axwell and Ingrosso, went their separate ways. Five years ago at Ultra 2013, they played what they called their final set ever.
Fans sang along every word to "Don't You Worry Child" proving the love and impact this supergroup has made on EDM.
Rumors had been going around the internet that Swedish House Mafia was the blank headlining act on the Ultra Miami 2018 lineup. But tweets from their manager and even Steve Angello shut down the speculations.
Five years ago when they decided to split, their reasons were mostly that they were not best friends anymore and wanted to focus on new things on separate paths. Now we anticipate and hope for a reunion tour announcement.
Axwell and Ingrosso play shows together still as Axwell /\ Ingrosso and performed Friday at Ultra. Fans noticed they did not play one Swedish House Mafia song.
You can relive this epic performance here with a wide shot from the Ultra Live Stream capturing the larger than life production.
