Take A Wild Look Back At EDC Las Vegas 2018
The Electric Daisy Carnival, an annual electronic mega-fest put together by Insomniac; a premiere music event company, provided endless hours of blissful beats for 'Headliners' who traveled all across the globe to be in attendance for the epic party that creates once in a lifetime experiences for fans, while celebrating all things EDM.
While one of the largest gathering of ravers in the United States in recent history came to a beautiful and majestic close last Sunday night, the memories that were created under the electric sky will last forever.
iEDM was on hand, repping our famous and trippy Cheshire Cat t-shirt, to experience this year's edition of EDC out in Las Vegas. It was an escape for the record books.
We previously discussed the best and worst guest performers of the festival, and now we revisit our favorite memories from the insane three day event where sleep was not an option for the adventurous souls who decided to make the trip to sin city.
One of the many highlights included the introduction of a new neonGARDEN stage that paid tribute to some of the best acts in the techno and house world.
Besides a variety of DJs putting their hearts and souls on the line at EDC, ravers witnessed one of the most impressive firework displays in dance music history. Breathtaking parades would take place over the entire course of the event, featuring clowns of all shapes and sizes; in addition to every kind of character in-between. The performers wound up marching right alongside the curious ravers; who were more than thirsty to capture the action for their never-ending Instagram story.
The second night of the event saw some of the biggest artists in the industry today, including Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, and Cheat Codes; tear the house down at the circuitGROUNDS until the sun decided to show up and make a grand appearance during the wee hours of the morning.
Tiësto also came out strong, and debuted a brand new track, “Jackie Chan,” featuring Post Malone; a rapper who is making monumental waves in the hip-hop game. Besides dropping new music that got the crowd talking, the legendary Dutch producer also featured a special tribute to the late Avicii, where he was joined by special guest Aloe Blacc.
Other standout performances from EDC included Lady Faith and DJ Stephanie's B2B set. The girls threw it down, hard. Take serious notes, boys.
While EDC is officially (and sadly) over this year, we are already counting down the days until the festival invades Vegas yet again, making everything seem right in this world
