This Is Why EDM Is Considered A Lifestyle

| June 19, 2017

All it takes is one song to realize that the EDM life is for you. If you listen and truly feel the music, you will know instantly. You will want to find more music like that, and next thing you know, you'll make your way to a show. That's when you will see the unity that has brought like minded people together because of their love of music. Their will be no violence or judgement, just love and bass to dance to all night.

Once you start, you won't want to stop. Your playlist, wardrobe, and even perception on life will change. This is how you know that you've started living the EDM lifestyle.

It all starts with commonalities

People who can relate to the same music typically relate to other common things in life too. For example, some people would assume that a kid dressed in all black, black hair, with gauges and tattoos would like some kind of alternative music.

EDM is typically associated with vibrant art designs. We love Kandi and wearing accessories that express our love for PLUR. EDM clothes range from women's rave wear like decorated bras, to men's trippy t-shirts designs.

iEDM has the perfect collection for examples of this. Diffraction glasses, LED shoes, fluffies, and rave bras are all common styles in the EDM world.

We Represent PLUR

Peace Love Unity Respect, it’s a moral stand point that many of us live by. We believe that peace is what needs to be kept, love is what need to be given, we are all one, and respect is what everyone deserves until proven otherwise.

We trade Kandi that says PLUR and we strive to represent these morals in everyday life, beyond the festival world.

“Woke” is a term used amongst our community

It means that you have been enlightened, your third eye has opened, and you have a deep understanding of what is. Enlightenment comes in many different forms, and is not only associated with EDM, but music can enlighten people. We flow with it.

You will meet friends that will last a lifetime

Some will share whatever it is that you need, help you get to where you need to be, and share the love. There is less judgment and you are free to express yourself in ways that wouldn’t be acceptable to many others.

You will make friends from other states and these friendships will last a lifetime. You will plan festivals together, visit each other, and be rave fam for life.

This lifestyle is about living, loving, and creating as one. I am you, you are me, we are we. Let’s love each other, and see where our unlocked potential takes us.

>We've created a place for artists in the EDM community to share their creativity with the world. It can be seen on T-shirts, crop-tops, pants, and even booty shorts to show off more than just their art. We have created the dopest rave wear for all of your shows and festivals, whether its a home town rave, EDC, or Burning Man. We hope to catch you at all of them! Eat, Sleep, EDM, Repeat.
