| September 27, 2018

With temperatures hotter than the average, we did not only experienced some heat advisory but we also experienced some of the hottest EDM tracks yet. Summer 2018 may be gone but the tracks that brought that extra wave of heat at festivals are still hotter than ever.

Featuring tracks from Kaskade, REZZ, Chromeo and more, iEDM chose our top ten tracks of Summer 2018.

Hope you guys had some 'FUN' dancing to funky house track by Kaskade. We all sang along to 'Gold' by Illenium & Excision, and last but not least 'Losing it' on the dance floor for rapidly risen house and tech house producer, Fisher.

10. Must've Been - Chromeo & DRAM

Chromeo dropped anticipated album back in June Head Over Heels just in time for festival season. The third single "Must've Been" is a catchy track about being stuck on somebody. It's catchy and relatable lyrics make the cut on our top summer tracks of 2018.

9.  Happy Now - Slander

Looks like everyone got on SLANDERS sensitive side this summer, this track is a bittersweet, nostalgic 'ode to the blissful times of a broken relationship. This beautiful track will brought all the feels out of you, so don't get lost in the moment and play it now.

8. High - Rusko (Bassnectar Remix)

This deep hypnotic roller give listeners goosebumps all over. With those forget about the deep wubs in this track, we're speechless. Bassnectar dropped this remix back in June at his Summer gathering, giving it a spot on our tracks of summer. The response from his fans was outstanding and it is a favorite track on his new Reflective EP.

7. Dance With Me - Chris Lake x Walker Royce

A Chris Lake and Walker & Royce collab is every bass house lover's dream. This beat is unreal and it makes people dance. Fans waited long enough for this release and what a perfect time to release it other than summer 2018. Close your eyes and get lost on the dance floor.

6. Bling Bling - Malaa

Easily one of the favorites Malaa songs yet. The vocal is unreal, having that classic house swagger and a unique tuneful beat. Malaa has had a heck of a year with sold out shows and new music from left to right.

5. Your Mind - Adam Beyer

A clip that was thrown into mixes at just the right time, it rapidly took on a life of its own. Every techno lover would go insane every time Adam dropped it, and fans waited long enough for this sizzling release.

4. Flying Octopus - Rezz

Another track out of this world from Rezz's second album, Certain Kind Of Magic. This track quickly gained the respect of fans being one of the most atmospheric of her tracks.

3. Gold (Stupid Love) - Illenium & Excision

This perfect collaboration delivers Illenium's dreamy signature sound. Each drop in the song brings Excision's heavier, dirty sound to life with vocals that fully delivered. The long wait made it much better and it surely brought some extra heat this summer.

2. FUN - Kaskade, Brohug & Mr. Tape

For those who like to have FUN, summer 2018 was the perfect combination to this funky house track. Kaskade announced the collaboration at Ultra 2018 and the crowd immediately went wild. Even Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto dropped "FUN" on this Tomorrowland set and DJs such as AC Slater and LoKii gave the track a different twist with their own remixes.

1. Losing It - Fisher

With no doubt "Losing it" is the hottest track of the summer. Fisher teased all his fans for a few months before releasing track, playing it at festivals such as Coachella. This track was a staple in sets all summer long by a lot of DJs such as Hardwell, Tchami and even Zeds Dead. If for some reason you're not familiar with this track, then wait no more and get lost in this catchy beat.
