Top 10 Hottest EDM Tracks Of 2018

Another year full of hits that took you on a rollercoaster ride throughout the warm and some colder days is coming to an end.

Songs that brought you new memories, a melody you sang your heart out to and those beats you danced to year round.

2018 may be almost gone but all those new tracks we heard at festivals for the first time will perhaps remain in your playlist. 

Featuring tracks from Illenium, REZZ, Kaskade and more, iEDM chose our top ten tracks of Summer 2018.

From songs that had you dancing all summer long to songs and that brought tears with their unique lyrics, this year had an incredible soundtrack. Here are the songs we will always remember.

 

 

10. Body - Loud Luxury 


Everyone wanted to ride in the 6 with Loud Luxury, a Canadian duo, that really caught fire with their single "Body." Going Platinum in Canada, performing in festivals such as HARD Summer, Sunsoaked, Electric Zoo and selling out in Toronto, this epic duo is just now getting started!

 

 

9. Bling Bling - Malaa

Easily one of the favorite Malaa songs yet because the vocal is unreal, having that classic house swagger and a unique tuneful beat. Malaa has had a heck of a year with sold out shows and new music from left to right.

 

 

8.  Happy Now - SLANDER

Looks like everyone got on SLANDERS sensitive side this year, this track is a bittersweet, nostalgic 'ode to the blissful times of a broken relationship. This beautiful track will bring all the feels out of you, so don't get lost in the moment and play it now.

 

8. Your Mind - Adam Beyer

A track that was thrown into mixes at just the right time, it rapidly took on a life of its own. Every techno lover would go insane everytime Adam dropped it, and fans waited long enough for this sizzling release.

 

 

7. Lose My Mind - Chris Lake 

Chris Lake made a huge wave in the house world this year by releasing a few hits including the massive track  "Lose My Mind." This talented artist showed the crowd how to groove to his funky and unique sounds all year round. Check out our exclusive interview with Chris Lake HERE

 

 

6. No Place - Rufus Du Sol

The boys of RUFUS DU SOL came back in 2018 with this amazing song that will leave you speechless. Don't wait any longer and vibe to the atmosphere this song brings you. 

 

 

5. Only Road - Gabriel & Dresden (Cosmic Gate Remix)

Grammy Award Nominee "Only Road" is a big tune for all the trance fans out there. From Gabriel & Dresden new album, "The Only Road" takes a spin after trance legends Cosmic Gate new remix to this song become an instant classic in early 2018.

 

 

4. Flying Octopus - REZZ

Another track out of this world from Rezz's second album, Certain Kind Of Magic. This track quickly gained the respect of fans being one of the most atmospheric of her tracks. 

 

 

3. Take You Down - Illenium 

Nick, aka Illenium, had an amazing year by performing at festivals all over the year and dropping his Awake 2.0 tour. Illenium released a more personal and deeper single "Take You Down" with pitched up vocals by his very own friend, Tim James. This single caught many fans attention due to the amazing producing and the backstory of Nick's addiction. 

 

 

2. FUN - Kaskade

For those who like to have FUN, 2018 was the perfect combination to this funky house track. Kaskade announced the collaboration at Ultra 2018 and the crowd immediately went wild. Even Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto dropped "FUN" on this Tomorrowland set and DJs such as AC Slater and LoKii gave the track a different twist with their own remixes.

 

 

1. Losing It - Fisher

With no doubt "Losing it" is the hottest track of the year. Fisher teased all his fans for a few months before releasing track, playing it at festivals such as Coachella. This track was a staple in sets all summer long by a lot of DJs such as Hardwell, Tchami and even Zeds Dead. If for some reason you're not familiar with this track, then wait no more and get lost in this catchy beat.
