CRSSD Festival 2022 is finally here! Every year FNGRS CRSSD features CRSSD Festival as a home for house and techno enthusiasts curating some of the most desirable names in dance music like DRAMA, Fred again.., Wax Motif among many other masters of the genres. Official set times are now released for your ease--whether you are looking to discover new artists or plan to experience a set that unites the whole rave family, iEDM has recommended 10 must-see acts that accomplish just that.

Fred again..

Fred Again.. is an explosive talent in the wake of his notorious Boiler Room appearance and release of his Actual Life 3 LP. Recently acquiring collaborations with industry giants Swedish House Mafia, Four Tet, Future, Skrillex, and more, Fred Again.. is on the rise towards deserved widespread recognition for his talent. Visit The Ocean View Stage to see his memorable set. 

 

 

VTSS

Polish producer-DJ VTSS is the epitome of hard-industrial techno sounds, bringing the coveted Eastern European underground worldwide. She is currently a frontrunner in the ever-expanding female presence in techno, showcasing her talent at every stop along her global tour. Anyone attending this set will be blown away by VTSS’s hard-hitting bass and stunning dexterity. VTSS has established herself as an icon within the scene, continuing to push limits in every step of her career. 

 

 

Sven Väth

Sven Väth is one of the few remaining DJs spinning sets on vinyl, refusing to stray from his origin in the 1980s. The German producer-DJ is known for his marathon-sets, massive presence in Ibiza, and trailblazing a path for the underground to reach success for years to come. Väth’s impact on the dance music scene is undeniably one of the most important in history, earning him the utmost respect from the industry and its fans.

 

Jamie xx

Originally known for his membership in the iconic pop trio The xx, Jamie xx has rerouted his efforts into a solo career. Just like The xx, he has achieved solo success– notably winning a Grammy in 2016 for his In Colour album. Over the past several years, Jamie xx has proven his unbridled creativity, talent, and passion for his music which will be showcased on the Ocean View stage to close out CRSSD Festival 2022.

 

ARTBAT

Ukrainian techno duo ARTBAT has ascended past regional success with their tracks played by respected DJs across the globe. Their unique style ranges from melodic to industrial sounds, loved by techno listeners of all genres.

 

Mochakk

The Brazilian tech-house prodigy Mochakk will be gracing the dancefloors of Waterfront Park with his funky melodies and eclectic personality. Mochakk brings seemingly endless energy to his performances with his well-loved dance moves and irrefutable swagger. His set will likely be one of the most fun all weekend, as he ignites the crowd with his unique style.

 

Fatboy Slim

This self-proclaimed “professional idiot” is anything but that! Fatboy Slim is in the 4th decade of his astonishing career, mastering his craft before many of his fans were born. If dance music was a textbook, his experience would color every chapter with hundreds of pages detailing his accomplishments. Fatboy Slim has participated in every era of the industry and its community with a skillful adaptability that has allowed him to grow alongside it.

 

Testpilot

Testpilot–Deadmau5’s second alias– is set to make an appearance on the City Steps stage. Although there is only one track in Testpilot’s discography, the project is a darker techno alternative to Joel Zimmerman’s signature sound– backed by Deadmau5-level production.

 

AC Slater

House legend AC Slater is famed for his ability to keep a crowd dancing throughout his entire set. Over the past decade he has pushed the limits of house music, fathering his Night Bass record label to put fellow innovators at the forefront of the dance music scene. With his willingness to cross boundaries and accompanying success in the mainstream, AC Slater has earned his place at the top of the contemporary house music industry.

 

 

Reinier Zonneveld

Reinier Zonneveld has been regarded as one of the most influential techno producers in modern electronic music, a master of global club music and pushing envelopes. Founder of top techno label Filth on Acid, Zonneveld has pushed forward his impact with major collaborations and seeking out the newest talent the underground has to offer. He is now continuing his branching career by cultivating the sold-out Live NOW Festival in 2022. Reinier Zonneveld is exponentially growing in the club music scene, having a significance in every aspect of the industry.
