Inclusive Music & Art Experience RETROSPEKT Unveils Thrilling Lineup for Upcoming DTLA Show
With so much competition in today's entertainment and music industry it can be difficult to stand out. This is not the case for RETROSPEKT, a quarterly live event series that puts that spotlight on people of color, women, and the LGBTQUIA+ members of the art community. The groundbreaking project stems from the well-known experiential marketing and event-production company Ideasion, both of which are founded by innovator Lauren Kashuk.
Speaking on RETROSPEKT, Kashuk shares, "the tables will never turn, and women will never be able to have the decision-making at major music companies and influence culture if they don’t come together and start to throw shows their own way. It’s different from any other event because I’ve yet to see an event like this. So it’s created for my community, by my community. To me, the series represents hope.” Now, this hope is looking more like a reality with RETROSPEKT returning for its second round in Downtown Los Angeles.
