[LISTEN] VEIL Releases Final Single 'OVERLOAD' From Upcoming Debut Album

VEIL, a rising force in the bass music scene, has released “OVERLOAD,” the second single from her much-anticipated debut album, HIGH VOLTAGE. Following the successful release of her initial track, “RESPAWN,” this new single showcases VEIL’s distinct fusion of bass music and sound design.

Known for pushing genre boundaries, she continues to set the stage for her upcoming album with “OVERLOAD,” delivering a track that promises to captivate her audience with its bold and intricate soundscapes.

“OVERLOAD” opens with an array of mechanical sounds and laser-like synths, building tension before descending into powerful basslines. The track offers a refreshing shift from her usual range while keeping the energy high.

VEIL explains, “‘OVERLOAD’ is a dancefloor igniter and album standout. Its 120 BPM rhythm provides a nice relief from the other more dominant ranges of my production style. This track pulls heavy inspiration from my old project and my days in the psytrance space. I love a progressive, stompy journey, and the intense energy of this perfectly captures AZAL OVERLOAD-ing the system.”

This latest release further expands the story of AZAL, the central character of HIGH VOLTAGE, navigating a complex, cross-dimensional world known as THE HOLLOW. As the album’s story unfolds, AZAL encounters obstacles and battles against a system on the brink of collapse. “OVERLOAD” represents a pivotal point in AZAL’s journey, capturing the intensity of her efforts to exploit a fleeting glitch in the system, creating an opportunity to escape her confinement.
